This turned out to be an unexpected pleasant surprise! I booked this item with the thought of having a cool drink in a cool and unusual bar! However, there was nothing simple or ordinary about our experience. Our host took this experience to next level… and our time at the Ice Bar could not have been more fun!! I would not recommend a trip to Iceland without a visit to the Ice Bar!!! Not only are the sculptures amazing… the staff makes your visit amazing by creating unbelievable memories! ❤️
We were the only ones when we got there and it was my husband's birthday and it was such an experience! Our bar tender took us all around the space and captured fun videos and photos with my phone and created a fun drink as our second option. He made it such a memorable experience that I wasn't expecting and I would absolutely go back!
No creas que vas realmente a un bar de hielo. Está ambientado como tal, no es un must de conocer, pero es una experiencia divertida que te toma entre 15 y 20 minutos, entonces lo puedes considerar en caso que lleves tiempo de sobra. El Barman fue quien hizo la experiencia divertida y saliéramos con fotos divertidas. Te dan una bebida y realmente tienes el lugar para ti y tu grupo solos, no te dan opción de una segunda bebida lo cual hubiera estado bien. Tenía buena música.
We came here one night to celebrate a birthday. The interior of the bar is all ice. They have a bunch of ice statues and even ice hockey. The place is very photogenic, with several different places to get a selfie. We got blue colored drinks which are served in ice glasses. Overall, it does a good job of sticking to its theme.
The ice bar was definitely touristy, but since we had never been to one before, it was a fun and unique experience. We ordered a non-alcoholic drink and it was actually really good. The whole place is great for photos, and everything being made of ice makes it feel pretty cool (literally and figuratively).
They even have an ice air hockey table, which was a fun surprise. Overall, it’s not something I’d go out of my way to do again, but I’m really glad we tried it at least once. Great for the experience and the pictures!
