Had a weird experience here on our trip visiting our son. We called in a pickup order and were thinking to stay for a drink on the patio when we came to get the food. While we were paying with Apple Pay at the register the bald manager started yelling and cussing at the waitress. It was really uncomfortable. Then she overcharged us by $25 but the bartender came over and fixed it. We decided to skip the drink and took our pastas home. The food was passable but we won’t be coming back because of this. I wish we didn’t get a peek behind the curtain.
Very pleased to have found this place. We didn't have a reservation on a busy Saturday night, but luckily there was a cancelation and we got a table. Service was fast and friendly. Our group tried the 2 specials: the meatball appetizer and oxtail risotto as an entree, while others tried some of the pasta dishes from the regular menu. Everyone was happy. I had the mushroom paparadelle--pasta was cooked perfectly and the mushrooms were very fresh. Would definitely visit again.
This was a really lovely gem. The food is great, with every dish bringing that very unique comfort that Italian food masters. The drinks are well-balanced and strong, would especially recommend sampling the negronis. The service is personable, attentive, and really ensures that you want to come back - and bring your friends and family. An all around lovely spot in Bed-Stuy.
