I had known Luxecool owner, Shaun for quite a few years. He is personable and strives to deliver his best service at a very competitive rate.
His experience and knowledge on the solar film type for my home is just the thing I need when I make my solar film choice. With so many options, which will serve as the best? My main concern is to not let the sun shine in too much at certain times of the year when it’s scorching hot as my parrots have a nice window view in my living room.
I am very satisfied with the solar film results. And am very assured that my pets are always protected against the heat at home.

Shaun is friendly to speak to and offer great consultation in helping us find the perfect film.
Installation was a breeze and professional. They even removed the rubber seals whenever possible, to make sure it is covered from edge to edge.
The films cuts off heat the instant it is applied on and best of all, reasonably priced while offering specifications better than some other major brands.

Selecting a company to tint windows can be daunting as there are so many available options. We got to know Luxecool through word of mouth via our residents’ chat group (and later found that my bro-in-law had commissioned him before too). That fellow resident has had the tint installed for 7 years now and it is still holding strong.
Shaun who did our quotation was very meticulous. He not only went through the available products but also described the installation process, like how the windows are cleaned and also how the film is tucked under the seal for a wholesome fit. I had done a quotation with another company who while friendly, did not provide this level of detail. Shaun also came on installation day to make sure that the installer knows the job. Not to be disappointed, the installer did as Shaun had described, making for a job well done.
FYI, we went with the GT-S20 tint. It is reasonably priced. Glare and heat is much reduced now!

It was a smooth and pleasant experience throughout. On the day of the site measurement, he was patient and answered all our queries, even when our questions may be every elementary (I’m guilty of not researching much prior so had to ask all the questions to him). The arranging of installation appointment was easy and quick and the installer did a great job (good craftsmanship). Shaun also did a post-sales follow up and reminded us on the maintenance tips. Overall, I rate this experience highly.

My experience with LuxeCool Window Film is simply fantastic. Shaun attended to my request and promptly followed up with an on-site measurement at my place so as to provide an accurate quotation. He took time to explain the different materials that are available and recommended several options for us. All my 3 bedrooms have plenty of window and tend to get hot morning sun. The sun rays can get rather glaring and the room heats up quickly as the afternoon sets in. We have some concerns. Our windows come with invisible grills installed and my ID was preparing us that the installation of solar films for the windows could be difficult. Shaun took a quick assessment and reassured us that installation is still possible even though it could be slightly more costly as it will take his installation guy additional time to install the solar film. We settled for Gemtint (GT-S20) under the supreme series which allows 19% visible light transmission, 99% UV rejection, 99% infrared rejection resulting in an overall 78% solar energy rejection. Pricing was extremely reasonable.
Throughout, Shaun was patient and transparent with his products and quote. It also helps a lot when he is very prompt to respond to our queries and follow-ups.
What surprises me most was that on the date of installation, Shaun still turned up at my place even though we have confirmed our order to proceed. He told us that he wanted to make sure everything is turning out well. Unlike many other salesmen, they hardly turned up on the day of installation. Some even asked me to do measurements myself so that they can provide fee quote. In one instance, a competitor from a leading brand needed me to remind him several times to provide a quote. he took 2 weeks to get back to me giving the excuse that he is too busy. I am worried when the sales is too busy to attend to you, you have to wait for a long time before any installation can be done.
The installation went on smoothly. The technician who did the installation did it much faster than expected and didn't complain much about the invisible grill. The installation was superbly done. Our rooms instantly feel different after the installation. As I still work-from-home, the glare is no longer an issue and the room is less warm. Obviously, a cooler room will help save air-con and electricity in the longer run.
Long and short, I would strongly recommend Luxecool Window Films for anyone who is looking for a cost effective and a product that works.

We engaged them for our windows with medium tint solar film and installed safety films for our kitchen glass door for anti-shattering purpose for our new BTO estate in Compassvale Bow on September 2016.
