I’ll admit, I started to get a little worried because it took longer than I anticipated, but since it’s made on request, that’s completely understandable. In the end, the wait was absolutely worth it. The quality, fit, and uniqueness of this dress make it a treasure I’ll cherish.
I love my skirts. Great for travelling because the fabric doesn't crease and is nice and cool. I ordered 1 and then 3 more! They take a couple of weeks to arrive, but it's worth the wait.
Really had such a great experience @ Lovu, specifically with Nandi. Communication was on point. Had an issue with one of the garments l had ordered, she exchanged it really promptly & without hassle & even threw in a freebie as a gesture of goodwill. Was so thoughtful. We waited 3 weeks for the dresses to arrive and they are the wrong colour!! No one is responding to our emails. Your customer service is shocking!! AND there is no contact number to phone on and their whatsapp has had 1 tick since the 10th Nov!!!!
We would like to clarify the situation for anyone reading this review, as your order and our communication records tell a different story.
You received your dresses in the exact colour you selected at checkout: Rose Champagne. This is the only Rose Champagne fabric we offer or advertise, and the dresses delivered match the product listing and your chosen option.
The colour you are referring to in your complaint is from the complimentary scrunchies included as a free gift. These scrunchies were not selected or paid for, are not part of the dress order, and are not an available fabric colour on our website. They were not intended to match the dresses, nor were they ever listed as a colour option. This was explained to you in our email reply.
Furthermore the bride changed the age of the one flower girl infinity dress and we remade the dress free of charge. We did not have to accommodate that.
Regarding communication:
You were responded to on email, which is our official and only accepted channel for order queries, as stated clearly in our website policy. We do not resolve customer issues on WhatsApp; therefore, messages sent there will not receive support. All email correspondence has been answered within our normal turnaround time.
We understand how important bridesmaid dresses are, which is why it’s essential that all information is accurate and all queries are sent via the correct channel. In this case, your order was fulfilled correctly according to the options you selected.

PATHETIC SERVICE. My mom ordered a dress from Lovu, on my recommendation to support local brands, for a function. After a month the dress still did not arrive. As the function is long gone she cancelled the order and asked for a refund. After saying payment would be made it has still not been made (5 months and a lot of follow ups later). Even sent a mail to say we’ll take a different garment but still no response. People want to support local but it is brands like Lovu that makes this impossible as there is no way you can trust them to either deliver on time or reply satisfactorily.
I have found Lovu to beTotally Unprofessional and Unreliable.! I ordered the Flounder off shoulder dress in Moroccan Satin Carnation Rose for my son's upcoming wedding. Soon after I received a msg that they were waiting for the fabric, to which I replied that I need the dress asap. The bride has a distinct color coding and I don't have a backup. One week later I received a dress by courier, absolutely Not the color that I ordered - light PINK??Since then I have been unable to reach them ?? No reply to any of my e-m's. Therefore I urge you to not support a Co that cannot man up & admit / correct a Faulty order.

They are not cheap, so you would expect good.quality. I am so disappointed with the flower girl dresses I ordered. They look cheap and nasty and I paid R2500 and now need to rush out i hopefully get something at the shops. I would recommend you dont use Lovu.

Your order was placed on the 21st of August with an expected delivery date of the 6th of September. Despite the tight turnaround, our team worked diligently to prioritise your order and ensure it was completed on time. We also covered the cost of overnight courier delivery to meet your deadline.
It’s important to note that with custom-made items, there may occasionally be a need for fittings or minor alterations, which we offer free of charge. It remains the responsibility of the client to place orders with sufficient lead time to accommodate any possible adjustments.
