Why I Love Lova Clothing Store
Lova Clothing Store has completely won me over with their gorgeous designs and comfortable fabrics. As someone with an athletic but petite frame, I often struggle to find dresses that fit just right, but Lova made it so easy. I found multiple options that hugged all the right places and made me feel confident and stylish.
The fabrics are incredibly soft and breathable, perfect for all-day wear, and the attention to detail in every piece is amazing. Their collection feels thoughtfully designed to flatter a variety of body types while staying on-trend.
Lova has become one of my favorite places to shop, and I can’t recommend it enough to anyone looking for fashion that feels as good as it looks!

Unfortunately I didn't have a great experience.
I order a multiway infinity dress and paid for custom sizing which was not done, I measure the garment myself when it arrived as it did not fit. The fabric is very thin and I was told I should have selected the lining option which to this day I cant find on the multiway infinity dress page were you select all the options for the dress. There is not enough fabric to warp the dress in all the styles advertised. The order was pushed back twice well over the 10 working days as well as the additional 5 working days it says on the website meaning I got it the day before my event and I couldn't wear it as it didn't fit and was of poor quality. I sent both pictures and my concerns to Moncheri over Watsapp and never heard back from her, its been 4 months now. I cant speak on the rest of their clothing but I don't recommended getting the multiway infinity dress which cost me over R1000.
*The owners response states that add lining was an option, it is now but it certainly wasn't when I ordered and it wasn't there when I wrote my review as a triple checked the page to make sure I didn't miss it. I also would have noticed that lining was an extra R395,00. I don't appreciate being told it was an option when it wasn't at the time of my order or review.
Not sure how a customer must know when to add lining or not especially when the fabric is described as quality. Please add that the lighter fabrics require lining. I suggest putting it in the important notes section.
Megan, we're sorry to hear about your experience. I have attached a screenshot from the product image to clarify where the option is for lining. We do not offer lining on all the dresses as a standard as not everyone prefers to have lining on their dresses. The lighter colours are recommended to add the lining option. Exceptional Service and Perfect Fit!
I am beyond impressed with the outstanding service and attention to detail I received from Lovu! I had a specific request for a dress I had in mind for our family photoshoot, and they went above and beyond to accommodate my needs. Not only where they pressed for time, but they also made sure the dress were done exactly as I envisioned. It fits like a dream.
The customer service was incredibly responsive and kind throughout the entire process, making me feel valued as a customer. It's rare to find a store that takes such pride in ensuring their customers are completely satisfied.Lovu are definately my go 2 from now on and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for both great style and personalized service!

Very disappointed with the entire experience. I ordered 2 items and knew they would take up to 10 days to be dispatched but after 10 days it took several emails and whatsapps before I got a response to say there was a delay. When the items arrived the fit was poor, both items were described as loose fitting and the same size, one was enormous and one was too tight. I was also unhappy with the fabric quality. I requested a refund and return, having read their return policy before purchasing. However, they claim that their options such as pockets etc count as customisations and so no refunds. Despite the items not being as described and bought online, unseen, so should allow return.
They agreed to collect and requested measurements to make alterations. It took well over 10 days and reminders again to have an acknowledgement that they had received the return and the altered items were on their way. The altered items are totally unwearable. The dress has been taken it at the hem so that I can’t make a full step and the proportions of the dress are total out of synch. The jumpsuit is no longer tight at the waist but gapes open at the chest and the legs are 6 inches longer- clearly they have sent something made for a totally different size.
I have emailed and said I am still not happy, the items are unwearable and were supposed to have been made to fit my measurements. I also emailed images so they could see how ridiculous their changes are. I wanted to give an opportunity for them to respond before making a public review but they have again totally ignored my email.
Even if the items had fit I couldn’t recommend because their communication and service is so poor. I want to support South African small businesses but Lovu has made me nervous to do so again in the future. Please don’t order form them unless you are willing to take a chance on delays, poor fit and no opportunity for a refund.
Edit: The company eventually reaponded and offered a refund but it took several weeks and email and whatsapp reminders to them before the money was returned.

EXTREMELY DISSAPOINTED!!!
I love to support South African made products and was SO excited when I found Lovu online. I ordered 2 tops in July to test them out. Top one was a bodysuit with no opening in the crotch and no way of getting it on so I couldn't even try it for size and had to send it back to be altered. Top 2 was ordered in medium and came in XL, it is an off shoulder top and just fell off me, so it had to be returned. A number of weeks later I received both top replacements. Top 1 had been altered and i could actually put it on. Top 2 was now a large and still too big for me so I had to send it back again. Early this month I received Top 2 for the THIRD time. Seeing as I placed my order in July, I feel I've been extremely patient. I was once again very disappointed to find they'd sent another large. When I complained and said I'd had enough and wanted a refund, they had the audacity to tell me that they don't do refunds and they shouldn't have altered the tops for me as the style is loose fitting. I'm almost 60 years old, I've worn a medium my entire life, I am well aware of a style that is loose fitting and one that is just TOO big. You cannot wear something that falls off constantly. They should not be in the business of making clothes if they can't even get a size right. They are now ignoring my emails. DO NOT buy their garments because I'm sure you'll be as disappointed as I am!
Hi Tracey thank you for your feedback. We have replaced the garment twice. The images on the website and the style of the garment which is an oversized look and feel. Off the shoulder tops do fall off the shoulder. We unfortunately cannot alter the pattern of our garments as it is not the style intended. Your purchase was a sale item. As per our website sale items unfortunately do not qualify for a refund.

I went to go pick an outfit and had such a hard time choosing one because they’re all absolutely exquisite. I've been buying from Lovu for two years now and I won't shop anywhere else. Moncheri is friendly, patient and very knowledgeable about their products. Brigitte listens to what you want and makes it happen. I've tailored quite a few of my items (because my body is slightly awkward) and I've never been disappointed. They have a wide range of quality materials and delivery is on time every time.

Extremely poor service and shoddy workmanship. Had to beg for them to communicate and correct a poorly made dress. I would strongly advise against anyone wishing to purchase online from Lovu. You are going to be wasting your money, without doubt.
