Great Place to Work as a College Student
Pros:I truly believe in the product, the company, and what they stand for. I love my job and the people I work with. I feel comfortable in my work environment and feel the pay is fair compared to the labor involved. Cons:Growth in the company seems hopeless if you work in a touch point Advice to Management:Consistency in job responsibilities: There are things I know that others don't, and on the flip side, I would like to know that all part-time employees have the same abilities so I feel confident I am doing as much as I can to serve my role.
Overworked and Underpaid
Pros:The only pro to this company are the people you meet. I enjoyed working with most people in the showroom. Cons:Working here feels like doing three jobs but getting paid for one. Showroom hours are limited, forcing you to pick up customer service or Costco shifts. The Costco shifts are the worst—sometimes an hour away—and you’re not told about them during the hiring process. To make it worse, there’s no additional compensation for these grueling shifts. The district managers are extremely micromanaging, making the work environment unbearable. Recognition for hard work is rare, and promised opportunities never materialize. Advancement in this company is an illusion. The bonus structure is another false promise—I only ever received one bonus despite what they claim during hiring. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone. Avoid it at all costs!

Just no.
Pros:Lots of perks along the way and an endless supply of teal-colored company t-shirts. Cons:Chaotic to a fault. Departments and teams are cliques, most days feel like a gossip mill in a high school cafeteria. Advice to Management:For all their "open door" policies, senior management are deaf and blind to self-awareness. And for god's sakes, change the name already.
Worse accounting department to work for
Pros:no pros at this company Cons:This is the most mismanaged company I have ever worked for. The word "turnover" was invented purely to describe this company's accounting and finance department. Average tenure is measured in months, not years. Managers leave quicker than associates. People have quit with no notice on numerous occasions. Associates are left picking up the extra workload with no clear direction from upper management until they are lucky enough to find another job. Expect to get performance reviews that are disconnected from reality. Bonus and raise structures are outdated and favors upper management despite years of record sales growth. The pay scale is atrocious and benefits are expensive. Cost of living adjustments don't come close to acceptable. Promotions are a pipe dream. KPIs are not only ever changing, they are also unachievable, unrealistic, unmeasurable and commonly out of your control. The most important factor is the non-existent work life balance. You will be expected to work on weekends and holidays. The salary is extremely low given the amount of work expected. It is impossible to take PTO. You will feel stressed every time you step away from the computer for more than a day. If you have a family do not entertain working here. Prepare to have a constantly increasing and unmanageable workload until you break, regardless of how competent you initially are. Systems are archaic and automation is an afterthought. The accounting close process is never-ending and a disaster every month due to poor system implementation and manual processes. It has not improved at all in the time I have been with the company despite the empty promises from the unsympathetic and micromanaging upper management. Investment into new software is ignored in favor of throwing money at outside hires who inevitably quit. Software implementations that do get approved are executed so poorly by the IT team that employees are forced to revert to old processes. Time and time again new hires try to create better workflows and time and time again they are ignored or quickly buried with work. This accounting department is the textbook definition of a hostile work environment and HR is powerless to do anything about it. The department is low key racist. In conclusion, you will be micromanaged at every turn and they will work you to the bone with no appreciation. I can not emphasize this enough : This Is A Thankless Job. Anyone who values their own personal health will stay far away from this chronically understaffed and overworked department. There is no room for growth at this company. Advice to Management:stop with the micromanagement and toxicity
Great Product, Disappointing Company
Pros:You get an amazing discount for working there and you get awesome knowledge on this product that is truly revolutionary. Cons:They only care about managers and above. The sales associates who actually make the company what it is are forced to work more hours than anyone else (I was part-time working 60 hours at some points). HR does not help with many issues, they have favoritism all the way to the top and they reward managers with trips across the country while the associates making the big sales get no recognition and if you even ask for days off or a raise they do not typically try to help you. Also there is no commission for the 10's of thousands of dollars you will generate for the company. No real incentive for selling as much product as they want you to. Advice to Management:Listen to your workers, make things fair and inclusive, and have more incentives for the associates to sell these very expensive products.

Great company
Pros:Small group of friendly, family-like coworkers. Great product allows me to feel good about what I'm selling. Extensive training. Decent hourly wage. Cons:Too few hours for part-time staff. Advice to Management:Training is thorough, but would be more effective if done while conjunction with hands-on experience.
Sell seats and sides
Pros:Great company overall. CEO is approachable. Coworkers are amazing and helpful. However there is a lot more that can be done to make it a Great Company to work for! Cons:Payrate for part timers is abissmal. Selling thousands of dollars worth of product and making the hourly wage that’s paid is awful. Bonus is non existent maybe get it once a year just to appease employees. Otherwise it’s a joke. Immediate supervisor s will micro manage. There is no autonomy in running a showroom. I loved working for Lovesac but my mental health was worth so much more than a paycheck. Immediate supervisor is driven for her own purposes that she will overrun anyone in her way. That’s the only reason why I left. There is a big disconnect between Hub and Touchpoints. Running discounts one day and not the next and then again on another is not the answer. It’s the wrong message sent to customers. Processes on the backend need to be simplified. Advice to Management:Make sure the people that you promote follow thru on the Company’s values. Follow up with your Showroom managers to get an idea of what’s going on with your field leaders. Pay your Part timers more! Amy concerns that are brought up are essentially shot down.

Wouldn’t Recommend as a Career
Pros:Low stress and great people to work with at the associate level. This company values DEIB. Cons:Weekends are required, and you’ll be working most holidays. Even though the company boasts about internal promotions, it doesn’t happen very often. Lots of external hires and lip service about how a promotion is coming ‘soon.’ This company worships the Showroom Managers and Executives, so much so that they fly them all out once a year for an all expense paid week long party. No recognition for anyone else. Promises of bonuses and incentives that are always somehow just slightly out of reach. This company is good for a part time job or if you don’t plan to stay very long, but I wouldn’t recommend trying to make a career out of it. Only a 3-4% raise per year, which is normal for retail. The difference is that most other retail jobs offer commission. Advice to Management:Manage expectations about promotions.
I think they take advantage of people with clever marketing. The concept is great. The product sucks for the price and the customer service sucks more. i’ve had the sectional for weeks, ordered three different coverings, and still don’t have a complete set of any covering. In fact, out of the three colors I ordered I couldn’t put a complete set together that would fit everything. I have the crap sitting in my living room and it looks like I’m moving out rather than living there. Think I’ve ever seen so many negative reviews on a company. I wasn’t smart enough to do the research. I just went out and spent over $7000 for a bunch of crap; complete crap.
Great if you check the right boxes!
Pros:Great product! Easy to perform duties! Cons:Bonus expectations are unrealistic, company broke records is Q4 2023 but somehow the employees didn't hit the secret "bonus" numbers. DEI is more important than performance. Company literally allowed an employee who was featured inside the company to rant against a religion bc they don't approve of it. Unbelievable Advice to Management:Hire based on performance, promote from within the company instead of making the ppl you Passover for promotion train the person you hired from outside the company. Let the employees know what the bonus number is and make it realistic. Pay part timers more and hire more full-time help.
