Loan depot data security problem Never give your information to this mortgage lender. Trust me!. Because of their data security problem. Now, i receiving a dozen of letter from different bank of failure credited application. Someone use my information to apply for many credit card as they can. Lucky that they are not successful because of lacking of some of my important information.

No communication, atrocious service They do not communicate. Stay far away from them. Pathetic mortgage company

Pushy and untrustworthy The person we talked to was very pushy even though he kept saying that he doesn’t want to be pushy. Then we received a mostly filled out loan application in the mail with all of our sensitive personal information on it and he even hard pulled our credit after I told the agent that I didn’t want him to. He assured me he wouldn’t but did anyway. I have never such a negative experience with a lender and this experience has ensured that I will never use loandepot in the future and will steer people away.

Rude sales reps. Even if I was shopping for a new loan o would not use this company. They call multiple times and when I tell them I’m not interested they just hang up. Horrible customer representatives. As someone in sales this looks very rude and unprofessional. No thank you!

Bad experience For a team of “professionals” they really do lack many things. Communication between themselves and the client is the main. Expected more, wouldn’t chose them again.

Loan Depot caused my personal information to be on the dark web This company is extremely corrupt and unprofessional. My personal data, social security and financial information was purchased by Loan Depot from a third party - I have never been a customer. Loan Depot then had a data breach and my information ended up on the dark web. I have had to contact Loan Depot multiple times to try to get more information about my situation, and they refuse to help me. Their customer service team is completely incompetent, and their "specialists" are con artists. I would stay away from this company if you're able to. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to do that since they illegally bought and sold my information.

No integrity. there needs to be a choice for 0. Loan Depot has a loan officer named Dre Torres that took advantage of our ignorance about home loans and escrow fees. We trusted that he would do his job and guide us to a successful escrow. He put us into a situation that we could not afford by making us believe that the title money was less than what it was in actuality. We are falling out of escrow. We have already refinanced to “afford” the down on this escrow, that we can’t afford. Why would you put trusted customers in this position? Raspberry They will tell you anything to get you to refinance their mail notifications never show your latest payments and when I call it seems like no one knows a thing about why they have raised my payment.

Don’t waste your time Place is a absolute joke.They are really nice and very thorough at first.And then the wheels will come off.My Loan Officer Kevin in Patchogue Long Island would never call when he said.Never give updates.And everything takes 4 Eva with them.At the end couldn’t get a loan with them with a 790 credit score and a 90000 down payment on a 385000 home.I couldn’t believe it Went to another lender and not only approved quickly it already in funding phase.Dont use this garbage company Ended up getting my pap

Terrible company Giving one star because there is no option for 0. I regret using this company for my mortgage more and more each day. They are quite literally the worst and most unprofessional company I’ve ever dealt with. None of their employees know what they are doing and can never give you a straight answer. They flat out lie and when you call them out on it they blame everyone under the sun. Worst lender ever. My advise would be to run away as fast as you can.

Less than professional is putting it mildly. LoanDepot had a data breach and was mandated by law to provide identity protection to the victims. They then refused to provide the service, distributing fake activation codes via both mail and their own support agents. The Experian service they claimed they had contracted for would not honor these. The LoanDepot support personnel had apparently been given the false codes to distribute, to find this out when people like myself complained - and then my support requests to them started to go into a "black hole" - no responses. I had to buy my own identity protection as a result of their lacking IT security. Given they lacked integrity in this regard, I'd have to assume doing business with them is a bad idea.

loan Depot does not care about your personal information These people are terrible. I never got a loan from them. Someone illeglaly tried to apply for a mortgage in 2020 via LendingTree. Lending Tree shared my info with loanDepot. loan Depot had a databreach and they refuse to delete my information. They claim the federal government requires them to keep the information for 7 years, which is a lie after I looked up the legislation. They told me it was company policy. Then they told me it was not their database and it was a shared database with Lending Tree - but they still won't delete my information. I never asked Lending Tree or loan Depot for my business.
