Attentive, professional and reasonably-priced tour company in Tanga We spent a couple nights in Tanga this past August and wanted to visit some nearby attractions. I contacted Livan Tours when we arrived and they very quickly arranged for us a reasonably-priced excursion to Tongoni ruins south of the city. The driver was excellent and everything went very smoothly. The next day we did a second excursion with Livan Tours, this time to Toten Island. We were again very pleased with our experience: the guide was on time, attentive and professional and gave us a great tour of Toten Island and shared with us his in-depth knowledge of local history and culture. I would certainly recommend Livan Tours for anyone visiting Tanga, and I would definitely use their services again the next time I’m in the area.

An unbelievable experience We got married in Bagamoyo, TZ and Laurent organised a number of safaris for our guests in the days that followed, taking us to Nyerere NP and Mikumi. All 30 of our guests had the best possible time. LIVAN tours could not have been better with the best guides, the best hotels and the most authentic experience possible.Many of our guests had never been to Africa before and managed to see all of the big 5 while feeling in good hands at every moment. Laurent, the owner of LIVAN, is a true gentleman - he was incredibly communicative from day 1, organising every single little detail and making everything as easy as possible for us (and all for an incredibly competitive price). I cannot state how highly I would recommend his company. Do yourself a favour and go with these guys!

Excellent safari - great guide and well organised Excellent safari! We saw so many amazing animals. Our guide, Nico, was extremely knowledgeable. Laurent did a brilliant job organising - it was an easy drive there and back and we stayed in a nice place in the park. Would really recommend!

Best tour of Tanga locale We booked a three day weekend tour package with Livan Holidays Tours and Safaris and had the best time in Tanga. Our guide, Imani, was very knowledgeable of the different locations that we visited as well as friendly and patient with a group of five ladies! He went above and beyond normal work hours to ensure that we enjoyed seeing additional locations of Tanga town that were not on the original itinerary at no additional cost. Aside from the amazing Sand Bank beaches of Tanga, I recommend the Amboni Caves as well.
