I placed an order, which never arrived. I contacted customer services who said wait 5-15 days for LITB to look into the matter. After 15 days they want another 9 days. I paid shipping insurance, but the company refused to send a repeat order or full refund.
The company have a truly awful record for customer service, sizing issues, quality and mis representation of products.

The worst fabric I have ever seen in a dress
I bought two dresses the "exact same" than one I own because my daughter likes it a lot, to my surprise because the two dresses have a completely different fabric, mine is 100 % cotton and these ones are 65% polyester and 35 % cotton and it looks and feels so cheap, the fabric is so see trough that the dress cannot be worn, and it's a summer dress. I have tried to return them and they want me to pay for the return shipping out of pocket whichbis not cheap, hoping they will reimburse me half in rewards points which I don't need because I will never buy from them again.

Shipping instructions were not honored, returns refused
I specified that if the clothing could not be shipped in time for a trip I was taking, to cancel the order. That wasn't honored, initial ship dates were hugely extended and the clothing arrived sometime during my trip. After I arrived home, returns were rejected on the basis that they had a 14 day return window, which expired during my trip.
All complaints went unanswered.
This is not a legitimate, aboveboard way to run a business - this behavior was a scam. Not to add that the clothing looked a little cheap . Highly recommend against buying here.

Won't allow returns for refund or exchange
Ordered 2 tiny lightweight wall downlighters.....didn't like them when they arrived....Lightinthebox refused to allow a return because lights are deemed heavy and fragile so you cannot return them!!!! Yet they post them to customers, so why can't customers post them back? The lights I bought were tiny (6cm wide) and less than 1kg for both in the box. When I replied to customer services stating this, they ignored me, but were very quick to tell me no returns or refunds allowed on a whole range of items they sell! AVOID.
After ordering I read reviews and though surely they can be that bad.I spent £152 on a dress and it us absolutely awful.Cannot believe I fell for this.Do not buy from this company there products are cheap crap.So disappointed.Looks like I cant even get a refund.Disgusting.

No returns option.
I used site before no problems but on this occasion I ordered three pairs of medium shorts, same shorts just different colours. Two were fine but one pair was massive! as though tag said medium. When I tried to submit return I wasted a lot of time before admitting defeat, there is no returns tab anywhere to click on. I will pass shorts on to someone else or a charity and will not use LITB again.

Over-priced garbage!
The shirt that I received (for a wedding) was a different uglier colour and the material was cheap and thick - nothing like the photo and description of the advert. Even the company's returns policy is fake. On requesting a return I was offered 30% of the 30 euros that I have wasted on this inferior product. After many weeks I am still fighting for a full 100% refund. I had to buy a shirt from another company for the wedding as I cannot trust this company. LightinTheBox is a total rip off and a nightmare to deal with. Avoid like the plague!!
Rubbish Company
I bought 3 dresses last August for a Vintage Festival - only one was suitable when they arrived so arranged to send two back & get a Refund - They offered me all sorts of Refunds & Offers & I was back & forth for months with them. I eventually accepted an 80% Refund which I would receive once they received the goods back. I sent them back at my own cost but have not had any Refund!! The dresses I sent back in September landed back on my doorstep yesterday (13/2/24) 5 months later!!!!!

Scammers
This site is a scam be careful buying from them. I bought a coat in November. Color was different and size was too small. Contacted them to ship item back. They tried to offer me all sorts of discounts ect, they eventually agree to refund me the entire amount. It’s now Jan and I still have not received my refund, when I contact them I get told they refunded and that I should contact my bank which of course I did. My bank asked for proof they sent me a slip showing the money was refunded but shows an acc number that is not mines. All they keep saying is contact your bank. Don’t but here!!! 🤬😤

Delivery times too long and when received expensive dress bundled in a bag. Sizing is terrible. NO information included on how to return. I have been spending a huge amount of computer time trying to find out HOW to return this dress. I have a lot of money to receive back. So far, terrible company to do business with. Will NEVER order from them again!!

I ordered some heated socks but my wife bought some before they arrived, so I asked to return them about 10 days later.
I was told that their terms were 7 days and that I couldn't return them. I looked at the link in the email and it said 14 days. When I challenged them they said I could return the item - to China- at my own expense and it would cost up to $40 (for an item that cost £28) so obviously not worth it.
Because the terms quoted are in breach of uk law I can claim back on my credit card.
Do yourselves a favour and use Amazon - it might be a few quid more expensive but at least you avoid having to deal with a cowboy company like this.
