LightenUp was the installer recommended by Velux. On the same day as our enquiry went to them ,Bob rang to offer to come immediately as he was quoting in the Hutt . He was fantastic - steering us away from more complicated ideas we’d had in favour of better and more cost effective solutions . He also has an excellent eye for design too. The communication around the installation and timings was excellent throughout the process , Mark and Justace arrived on time , set to work immediately , were fantastic to have on site and worked in around our other contractors easily . The finished result is even better than we’d hoped for and the difference it has made makes it worth every cent . A seamless process from start to finish - we would not hesitate to use them again or to recommend them to others .

Bob gave a competitive quote for a skylight install which was completed on time and with quality workmanship. Absolutely fantastic service. The team were friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and really responsive. The installers really gave us confidence that we had made the right decision and I could not recommend the team highly enough. In terms of the product if you looking to really change the look and feel of your home as well as adding value bringing in light via one of the tunnels is something you won’t regret.

Replaced two 1970s plastic domes. Lighten Up have really stood out with their aftercare service. The replacement itself was cost effective and made a massive difference to the quality of the light inside. Unsurprisingly, our old dome flashings turned out to be a bit mischievous and Lighten Up have been committed to chasing down small leaks by process of elimination. Friendly and positive to deal with.

I give Lighten Up Welling 5 big stars as that’s the maximum Google allows unfortunately! We engaged Lighten Up Wellington to install a new skylight in our very dark kitchen and to replace 2 custom made skylights that had failed miserably and damaged our interiors. Bob’s knowledge and guidance was very professional and prompt, he definitely knows this industry well! We were very impressed with their price (same day quote was a surprise must I say), as it was several thousands of dollars less than other quotes we shopped around for. We are also glad we went with the Velux products as they are BRANZ tested and appraised unlike some of the other locally custom made and expensive products on the market. The team of men that installed and replaced on the day were tremendous, friendly and very very tidy. Highly recommend LightenUp. Swift in response to an emergency situation we had with an existing skylight and quickly provided the documentation we required for the Insurance Company. Smooth and efficient installation of a new velux skylight window which is working perfectly - very pleased with it. Impressed with their communication throughout the process.

Bob and the team at LightenUp installed the skylight in our Wellington home that we owned for 13 years. Throughout that entire time we never once had a single issue with the Skylight, not even a hint of a leak, and as easy to use 13 years later as it was at the beginning. Robust too, the strong construction of the opening mechanism and seals meant we never worried about using it, even in Wellington's strong winds. We were so impressed by Bob and the team that we used them for a number of other projects and have been impressed each time, super clear communications making it easy to get your head around each step of the way, and each and every time we were so happy with the results. I would 100% recommend Bob and the team.
