I loved Kayla! She is so patient, kind, compassionate and helps you see the whole picture. She cares about her clients and confidentiality. She always makes time for me and I am forever greatful.

Truth and grace

And he rooted his counseling principles in scripture and faith which really feels uncommon today among other counselors. honestly if you are needing counseling these are the people to see. they treat you like life long friends and just genuinely want the best for everyone they see.

My wife was diagnosed in August 2021 with an aggressive and incurable form of brain cancer. The trauma of such an unexpected diagnosis was difficult to bear for my wife as well as myself. One can only imagine the terror and anxiety she was experiencing. The treatment and its ramifications were exhausting. Move forward a few months. The Pastor of our church set up a meeting with Ann and Dr. Dave Ralston. He felt we might benefit from their expertise in our attempts to cope and perhaps find some kind of healing from a spiritual perspective. Our predisposition to sharing sensitive struggles was one of reluctance and a feeling of futility. We both thought “what’s the point? This isn’t going to change anything”. We, however managed to enter the give and take with a modicum of objectivity. After our first visit my wife still had anxious moments and questions concerning faith but she and I each felt a spiritual bond with Ann and Dave. Their approach to my wife’s struggle and my control issues concerning cancer left us feeling less burdened and more centered on the time we had remaining. Sherry (my wife) began to really look forward to our weekly meetings. Ann and Dave were patient, empathetic and especially kind. They unexpectedly did not attempt to bombard us with spiritual guidance. They allowed us to pursue that route on our own and in our own time. They did guide us with plausible rationales that eventually gave each of us inner strength and perhaps a bit of peace. I highly recommend both Ann and Dr. Dave to anyone struggling with whatever unpleasant season you’re experiencing in your life. Their unpretentious and loving demeanor alone will make understanding, coping with or putting in perspective your struggle. Sherry recently passed but I know her battle was lessened to some degree through our relationship with the Ralstons. I still grieve and miss my wife of 52 1/2 years but the tears don’t burn as bad and my anxiety has all but disappeared. Life Training has been a God sent!!! I’ve been a Christian all my life pretty much, attended Bible school, and love God, but the realization of God being my father didn’t come to live till counseling with Dr Dave. I’m growing into who I was created to be .❤️
