Such a scam! So many hidden fees! Charged me for the dumpster extra day twice! Over 900 dollars for a dumpster is insane! I am using Tinari for my project now and they are great!

On March 27, 2025, I contacted liberty Dumpster regarding a dumpster rental. I was quoted a total of $239.51, which was said to include both the rental and delivery fees. I was clearly informed that any weight exceeding 2 tons would be subject to an additional charge of $0.15 per pound.
The dumpster was delivered as agreed. However, I later received a bill totaling $445 for tonnage fees. According to the invoice, the weight of the contents was 1.9 tons—under the 2-ton threshold that would trigger additional charges.
I believe this charge is misleading and unjustified, as it contradicts the pricing information I was originally provided. Due to this, I submitted a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau, Attorney General and the Federal Trade Commission.. Upon doing so, I discovered that this company has had 65 similar complaints filed against them over the past three years, suggesting a concerning pattern of deceptive billing practices.
They have threatened legal action, which I find entirely unproblematic, as I am a second-year law student and fully aware that their conduct is both misleading and improper.

This was my first dumpster rental. After paying Liberty Dumpster the agreed on dumpster rental fee ($215) up front this company sent me an additional $600 dollars bill due to weight for household items. They said the weight caused the extra fee. They are ripping people off bye misleading them. My trash wasn’t over weighted items. This is a dishonest company and you need to avoid them. If other dumpster companies do business this way then please report them also.

Read the small print! IN addition to the advertised price, they charge you $.15 per pound - that's $300 additional on 2,000 pounds! Such a rip off! This makes them one of the most expensive dumpsters you could rent.

I don't often take the time to review businesses, but this company knocked it out of the park for me. Rick bent over backwards to accommodate me on extremely short notice, twice in the same week. Their price was competitive, they showed up exactly when they said they would, with no issues.
Rick was responsive, and communicated with me at every step. He was easy to work with, and allowed me to spend my time worrying about other things, but I never had to worry about when dumpsters were being dropped off and picked up.
Without hesitation, anytime I need a dumpster, Rick will be my first (and last) call.
