Lovely little apartment, I stayed as my own home was flooded , check in was easy and parking was perfect.Any questions or queries was answered quickly and everything required for day to day living was provided.
This was my first stay with Nicole, and I will be returning. I had a wonderful stay. Nicole is an excellent host who was genuinely concerned about the quality of my stay. Nicole is friendly, accommodating, and very responsive to any inquiries. The house is ideally located in a quiet neighborhood ten minutes from downtown Lichfield and has ample off-street parking. I travel to the Lichfield area a few times each year, and I plan to stay with Nicole the next time I travel.
We really enjoyed our stay with Nicole. The accommodation isn’t quite in the centre of Birmingham, but it’s in a quiet, cosy neighbourhood. Communication with Nicole was excellent. Everything went really smoothly at check-in too.

Comfortable stay in a tidy location, nice trip.
☺The location was great for our needs as we had an event at Millenium Point which meant we only had a 10 minute drive to the event each day. The house is on a quiet street with a drive big enough for 2 cars. The house was comfortable and clean, could do with some touch-ups here and there but didn't affect the comfort. The kitchen has an air-fryer!! Big positive from me for that. The beds were comfy, plenty of hanging space and drawers. The garden has some seating to enjoy the warm evenings, the washer and dryer are located in the garage off the garden. It is worth noting that the hosts do request that shoes are not to be worn in the house, an area just inside the front door is set up for shoes to left there. This didn't bother us at all but it is worth knowing beforehand. The host always answered any queries quickly. The location is great if you want to be able to get into the city centre quickly and easily but not stay in the hubbub.
☹The information book needs to be updated to tell you where to locate the washer and dryer, I found it by searching myself. Information about the rubbish and recycling requirements for the area also needs to be added.
Nicole’s bnb was peaceful and very close walking distance from the reservoir park, a peaceful place to hang out outside. It was pretty hot because we were here during the heat wave, but luckily the windows upstairs open for breeze. Nicole also tried to get us fans so I appreciate her responsiveness and effort. The beds were comfy and the place was very clean. Plenty of working space in the kitchen. The living room is also spacious. It was easy to get in once we found the house and instructions were very clear. Parking was also very easy and spacious. Overall perfect for our group.

☺Property was clean, fit for purpose for my family of 5. Access to city and University was perfect for us. I liked the fact it was detached with parking.
☹The property its self is dated. Carpet’s would be best with some underlay and uneven floor boards in places. Floor boards give off loud footsteps. The bathroom needs to be looked at and consider a shower curtain instead. Dated front and back wooden doors changed to PVC for a more secure feel as they show signs of rotting in places. Shame we were unable to use the back garden because it was overgrown.
I booked Nicole's place for some work colleagues as they were staying a while so it was nicer for them to have a home experience rather than be stuck in a hotel.The feedback they gave me was that it was perfect and had everything they needed. The location was great too for Lichfield.
The place was lovely and homely and as exactly like the pictures, Nicole was very quick to respond and accommodating. We requested a fan due the heat wave during our stay and this was provided at short notice.
Host was lovely but the place needs a major upgrade. The downstairs furniture was old and basic, the sofa has stains and the blinds are hardly usable. The kitchen has the bare minimum too, there was nothing that we could use to cook properly such as salt or oil. The garden was not tended to so our dog was running around in 60cm tall grass and weeds, lots of things were hidden such as a half eaten rubber ball that was not safe for him. All the indoor locks did not work or were not available. The bedrooms were clean but again, there is nothing to shout about. The plugs were taped over so there was only one plug per room to use, if that wasn’t taped over too. We had a small child with us and her parents could not plug in a camera and a small light at the same time - they had to choose which they would use for 2 nights. Lighting and mirrors were also non existent, the bathtub and shower was also a pain to use. All in all, an easy booking and find but the pictures are 100% misleading.

We therefore respectfully disagree with several points raised in this review, including comments regarding the property’s representation, facilities and overall condition.Regarding the garden, there was a temporary delay in completing maintenance to the rear garden due to an unexpected equipment issue with our gardener as you noted the front garden was fine. Whilst the grass was longer than usual, it was not to the extent described in this review and was subsequently resolved.The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering stays. As is common practice in holiday accommodation, consumable food items such as cooking oil, salt and seasonings are not provided due to hygiene and contamination considerations.We also note that no concerns were reported during the stay. Following departure, a request for compensation was made despite us not having been given the opportunity to investigate or resolve any of the issues now raised in this review. Had we been contacted during the stay, we would have been more than happy to assist.We remain committed to providing a quality guest experience and are proud of our 4.89 overall rating and the consistently positive feedback received from the vast majority of our guests regarding the property’s accuracy, cleanliness and hospitality.
