Hi Julie, firstly I want to apologise about your experience Sunday at the LB, it seems we did have some issues on this particular Sunday which, if you look at all of our previous reviews, are not typical. I have and still am investigating the problems that occurred as we have a rota for staff and it's difficult to get all the feedback in a single day. I want to genuinely thank you and the previous reviewer for drawing this particular day's shortcomings to my attention and I can assure you that there will not be a repeat of the poor experience that you had. The menu was new and partly experimental and I can confirm that going forward, as a result of your feedback and others, we will be reverting to the usual Sunday menu incorporating more vegetables included in the Sunday Roast. Once again I apologise and assure you that we do listen to, and take seriously, all feedback and I hope you will give us another opportunity at some point in the future - kind regards Angie

Hello Paul, thank you for your for comments, we value all feedback from our customers, firstly we are truly sorry that you didn't leave the LB happily satisfied. I apologise for the delay in responding as I wanted to investigate this further. I spoke to your server and she informs me that she advised you there was one item on the menu, the squash wellington, that was no longer available. We have a system at the stand where items that are not available are notified to the servers so they can relay this information when menus are brought to the the table. We have never had a complaint that the menu had too few options, the menu you chose from was the a la carte menu which is changed every 8 to 12 weeks dependent upon the season, it's on all day from 12PM and I'm sorry there was nothing to your liking. Our system also requires the server to check that you are happy with your meal during service and when she asked you, you did say you were happy. This is the ideal point for us to correct anything you are not happy with, and I really wish you had drawn her attention to the fact that your food wasn't to your liking. Your server has conveyed to me that you seemed pretty happy with your meal and even left a tip when your bill was settled which is another indication to us that you appeared happy. We really do not want anyone to have a poor experience at the LB, our executive chef puts a lot of effort into sourcing fresh, local ingredients and constructing a top quality menu, our serving team pride themselves on delivering the best possible service they can and so I can only apologise that in this instance you had a poor experience and I hope you will give us another opportunity to deliver the meal and experience you were anticipating.
