Superb hotel in every way. ☺ Breakfast and location excellent. ☹ Nothing. All amazing.

sport e relax in un paradiso a poca distanza da casa ☺colazione super, locali pulitissimi sia fuori che dentro, personale gentilissimo, ottimo bar per cocktail, posizione, dimensioni camera e vista mare che ci è stata concessa senza supplemento. Piscina e hot tub riscaldate ☹migliorerei l'aperitivo qualche patatina o nocciolina con il drink non guasterebbe e la spa è piuttosto piccola

Lots of potential. Lovely holiday, but more excellent 4 star than 5. ☺ Rooms The rooms were fab. Modern and luxurious. Beds super comfortable and balcony good size. We enjoyed our view. Towels and robes fluffy and clean. Staff Rafa in particular was very friendly, professional and hospitable. Staff were generally great. Food Good breakfast buffet. Not amazing for vegetarians and bad for vegans in terms of hot options. Cleanliness The hotel was kept immaculate. Rooms were cleaned very well. Balcony could have been cleaned more often. Location Hotel grounds are lovely. Mini golf, pickle ball and lots of different places to relax. Pool great. Next to the beach and near the promenade. Close to airport but planes were not annoying or disruptive. ☹ Rooms Nespresso machine provided with 6 capsules. You then had to pay for additional which seems pretty ridiculous in a 5 star hotel. Or at least provide standard coffee grounds to use with kettle. This is a small thing but really took the sheen off the provision of the machine, why bother if it isn't a luxury touch? Would have liked slippers to go with the robes. The hair and body gel seemed very similar to the hand wash and I didn't like the smell personally. In the lobby they have Rituals products, this would have been nicer and more on keeping with the 5 star standard. Staff Some staff were rather brusque. The pool bar staff was understaffed and meant that the waiters did their absolute best but at one point I waited an hour for a beer by the pool. Food Dinner was c. 30 euros if you went and paid on the day. It was very, very standard and almost nothing for vegetarians/vegans. Was really disappointed but glad we hadn't booked half board. Cleanliness The balcony wasn't cleaned daily. Location Beds got very busy at pool, we just managed to get two a couple of times. The local parade is quite touristic and lots of British/Irish bars- great if that's what you're looking for and probably unavoidable unfortunately (I say this as a Brit!). The surrounding plots are rather unkempt and dirty, not really anything the hotel can do about that but worth noting.

We had a lovely stay to celebrate our wedding anniversary. ☺ Excellent location and facilities, spotlessly clean, helpful staff, lovely breakfast. ☹ We were disappointed with the bed. We felt that 2 single beds independently dressed and pushed not anchored together were unacceptable in a double premium room in a 5 star hotel. However the beds were comfortable and would not prevent us from staying at Lava Beach again.

Exceptional ☺ Very enjoyable stay. Accommodation was so comfortable and excellent breakfast! Will definitely go back.

Relax a due passi dal mare ☺Super albergo dove non manca nulla. Ricco buffet per la colazione, piscina, mini golf e intrattenimento serale e tanto altro. Davvero nulla da ridire.
