Heerlijke locatie met alle amenities die je nodig hebt voor een prachtig lang weekend in Parijs. ☺De locatie in het 11e Arrondisemnet is perfect - prettig gelegen tussen Bastille en le Marais met metro station Rue Saint Maur op enkele minuten loopafstand. Op iedere hoek een bisto, of terras voor koffie, ontbijt, lunch of diner. En fantastisch Libanees restaurant Jolia in op 123 Rue du Chemin Vert. Bestel de hele vis! ☹Eigenlijk niets, het is een donkere ruimte maar dat moet in de zomer ook ivm de warmte dus luiken dicht zodat je de hitte buiten houdt. Er wordt veel aan planten en het schoonhouden van de straat gedaan - wat betekent dat er vaak zeker meerdere malen per dag met afvalbakken over de keien gesleept wordt. Dat kan luidruchtig zijn.

Bien ☺Propre, Emplacement idéal, adapté pour un couple avec 1 enfant ☹Il était listé comme climatisé. Or deux ventilateurs ne sont pas une climatisation en particulier sous une canicule exceptionnelle.

Bonjour Pauline,

Je suis très étonnée par votre commentaire concernant la climatisation. L’annonce ne mentionne à aucun moment que l’appartement est climatisé.

Compte tenu du fait que votre réservation de dernière minute avait été effectuée en pleine période de canicule, je vous avais également envoyé, immédiatement après votre réservation, un message spécifique vous précisant que l’appartement ne disposait pas de climatisation, précisément afin de m’assurer qu’il n’y avait aucune ambiguïté avant votre arrivée.

Je suis également surprise que vous ayez attribué une note de 5 sur 10 à la propreté, alors que vous mentionnez vous même parmi les points positifs que l’appartement était propre.

Je regrette naturellement que la chaleur exceptionnelle ait affecté votre confort, mais les équipements disponibles correspondaient exactement à ceux indiqués dans l’annonce. Il me paraît important de le préciser afin de rassurer les futurs voyageurs, qui se fient légitimement aux commentaires laissés après chaque séjour. Les nombreux avis positifs reçus jusqu’à présent témoignent d’ailleurs, de manière générale, de la fidélité de l’annonce à la réalité de l’appartement.

Je vous remercie néanmoins d’avoir souligné l’emplacement idéal de l’appartement ainsi que son agencement adapté à un couple avec un enfant.

Nice and cozy ☺ It was a nice and cozy place, we felt great. The apartment is located on a quiet street. Metro-bus stations are 5-10 min away. There are a lot of restaurants near by. I would definetly come back. ☹ Nothing.

Barbara was such a lovely host. Very kind and helpful and always replied super quick. The flat was small and very cute. The apartment was clean and looked like the pictures. The area was wonderful with many bars and restaurants around without feeling too busy at night. Close to the metro and access to many little shops. We would definitely come back again!

Tranquil oasis in the city, with everything you need close by. ☺ The location was fabulous - plenty of little shops and bistros in the neighbourhood but easy to reach public transport for going further afield. The apartment was lovely - warm and cosy. The bed was very comfortable and the road is quiet at night, even on Friday and Saturday. It was easy to get the keys and our host was very attentive.

Barbara's place was lovely, super cozy and in a great location down a really cute street. She was great at communicating and left us a very informative house manual and also loads of things to do and places to eat in the area. She was very flexible with check in and out times and always replied quickly and in a very friendly manner. We would definitely stay there again, and would recommend to anyone visiting Paris.

We had such a lovely stay at Barbara's place. It's a lovely quiet alley in a nice area. Very near to cafes and restaurants and easy for public transport. We wandered around in the evening and it felt very safe. It didn't feel like a very touristy area, but an easy walk to places like Pere Lachaise cemetery and the Marais. If you don't mind walking further you can also reach Notre Dame and the Louvre, but there are metros and buses too. Barbara gives you a great booklet and we followed most of her recommendations because we fancied wandering rather than seeing the big sights. Foodwise, Brasserie Martin had a lovely atmosphere, and Le Rigodon was absolutely fantastic (note that it has a limited menu which changes...all organic farm food from Normandy, including a great veggie dish). The flat is lovely and cosy...go with someone you know well! One of us used the sofa bed and it was really comfy. Barbara is lovely and responsive and the place is fitted out much better than a lot of places.

Overall I give a 5 stars to Barbara herself as she’s very proactive in making sure her customers are satisfied. As for the apartment, it’s worth a 3.5/4 ; it’s lovely decorated but tiny and dim. Certainly not for more than 2 persons.

I’m glad that although you enjoyed the décor the apartment felt dim; this has been a fairly isolated piece of feedback so far. Given your stay from September 28 to October 3, the shorter autumn daylight may have contributed. I’ve taken your feedback on board and added a brighter table lamp and higher-lumen bulbs to improve evening lighting.For transparency, when a booking is for three adults I always share an upfront note: the apartment is 25 m², and while many guests find it perfectly comfortable for three adults, some may find it feels a bit cozy. Your point is fair, but since your reservation was for two, I didn’t send that message.Thank you again for your review. I’d be happy to welcome you back and show you the improvements.

Bijou jewel ☺ L’Atelier DuPont is a small but perfectly formed place to stay in an interesting and eclectic location. I can’t fault anything about the property, location or amenity. Barbara was a wonderful and informative host who shared her wealth of knowledge of the surrounding area. As I’m very familiar with Paris her recommendations were fabulous and her communication was prompt and exceptional. I cannot fault anything about my stay, I highly recommend this property!!!
