Cancer diagnosis forced me to cancel a flight. After speaking to one of their agents that told me I could apply under extenuating circumstances and should get most of my money back, I went through the effort of getting the supporting documents and submitting them, to then receive less than the minimum refund advertised on their website.
Lost around £250 and felt like I have been taken advantage of.
Their excuse was that was all the airline refunded them however I did not buy my ticket off the airline, but rather from last minute.com so they need to refund me.

This was done after I was told I could apply under extenuating circumstances and so should receive the majority of my money back. Two days later after sending all the documents I received less than the minimum advertised on their website.
Do not trust this company my flight was cancelled they led me on for three days telling me that they were going to get a different flight for me then two days before the flight they said there's nothing they can do or give me a refund terrible customer service if you book with his company you're on your own if something goes wrong
Lastminute Keeps Routing Us Through the Middle East Conflict Despite Safer Alternatives
The customer service from Lastminute has been an absolute nightmare.
Our flight home has now been delayed by more than five days due to the conflict in the Middle East. Despite this, Lastminute keeps rebooking us on flights that go through the Middle East, where the situation is still unstable and flights are frequently cancelled.
There are many alternative routes available directly to Europe or via Asia, but they continue to place us on routes through the conflict area. As a result, the flights they book for us keep getting cancelled.
When we contact their customer service, the agents say they are unable to make any changes to the booking. Instead, they tell us that another department must handle it and that we need to wait for them to contact us. We have now been waiting for three days since the last update without hearing anything.
This situation has completely disrupted our trip and effectively ruined our vacation. On top of that, we are now also losing income because we are unable to work from here while we wait for them to resolve the situation.

Criminal assholes who were able to call 3 minutes after the failed payment process, but then never again when problems arose with the flight. Our connecting flight was suddenly changed to a flight with a 12-hour layover at an airport, which wouldn't depart until the next day. There was no call, no one asked about alternatives, and emails were either ignored or only answered once every two weeks. They said they couldn't do anything, and that it wasn't possible to get the deposit back because the new details had already been confirmed. However, I never made any confirmations; they did it themselves without asking or contacting me! Outrageous! 1000€ gone. Another incident a while back with the same company involved me booking a flight with a booking number that didn't even exist. At the airport, I was told it wasn't possible to travel. Unfortunately, I'd forgotten it was the same company and fell for it again. An absolute nightmare! Don't book with them! Criminal scammers who should be in jail.

We urgently need assistance regarding our booking. Our return flight with Norwegian on 5 March has been cancelled, and Norwegian has informed us that all changes and rebookings must be handled through the travel agency.
We have tried repeatedly to contact you by phone, chat, and email, but we have received no response at all. Because of this, Norwegian is unable to help us, and we are currently stranded in Dubai without any support.
We kindly ask you to:
1. Confirm that you have received our request
2. Assist us with rebooking our flight as soon as possible
3. Provide guidance on what we should do in this situation

Worst third party
This company is one of the least serious out there, and only try to scam their customers by hiding fees into your booking process. I was promised to get money returned before them going back on their promise. And even after talking to their customer service there was no trying to make things right. Rather just blaming me for making a mistake whilst booking with them. Congratulations, a never returning customer

Booked an international flight through the App, no problem with booking. However, everyone should be aware that they DO NOT CONFIRM YOUR FLIGHT at time of booking. After three days, I got a CANCELLED BOOKING for unknown reasons. As everyone is aware and probably do the same, we always try to look for a better deal at that time. Thought I was getting the best deal through the App, but because of the cancellation I had to book with a different company and the prices have obviously gone up a couple of hundred pounds! I am NOT USING this company ever again!! If I had known before how inefficient and incompetent they are at booking, I could have saved myself more money from a different company.
This is my honest review and at the time of writing, they have sent me my money back.
I suggest to find a more reliable company to book flights if you want to save money.

Do not ever buy extras
Do not ever buy extras, insurances etc with them, its a scam, still fees to pay (I am not about fare difference). They cant provide any details on fees, costs to reschedule flight. Customer service is a bunch of misinforming people. Do not think you can do anything if you need to change your flight, they will do anything to make it hard for you.

Terrible customer service and unhelpful support
Impossible to get in contact with, you'll have to conversate forever with a chat bot, then with some outsourced customersservice that apparently have no way of meeting the demands.
Apparently it is impossible to change the name on a ticket.
But in general, the lack of customersservice is the reason one should prefer to deal with the airlines directly instead of these "scam"-like agencies

Worst experience
After booking a flight through them, I broke my leg, was hospitalized, and had surgery, so we couldn’t fly. We tried calling and emailing many times, but they didn’t respond until after the flight had already departed. We lost all our money and still haven’t received any refund. Terrible service — avoid.
Untrustworthy and misleading service
They lack transparency and are dishonest. They charged me for extras I booked but did not include them in my tickets. When I asked for clarification, they refused to provide details. Additionally, they manipulate hotel ratings—one hotel showed a 9.0 rating but the reviews did not support it, with none exceeding 7. Deceptive practices like these make it impossible to trust them. Avoid at all costs.

AVOID - Book direct with airline for flights
If I can give you any advice, please DO NOT use this company. We booked a return flight home from Malaysia to Manchester via Doha. Our travel plans had changed for unforeseen circumstances and we couldn't travel to Malaysia and in turn headed straight out to Doha using a separate flight we paid for. Before making the decision to do so, we contacted lastminute.com on several occasions 10 days in advance of our departure date to seek guidance on changing our flights, understand what the cancellation and refund options are and obtain any other advice regarding our options. Firstly, half of the agents are home based agents, based worldwide and no two agents will tell you the same thing, we had calls with distractions such as loud TV in the background, screaming children - we heard it all - what was clear was the advice was very inconsistent. They lied on several occasions and stated that we wasn't able to have a 'full' refund on our flights just a refund of airport taxes only. They failed to advise that our tickets could be reissued from the airline to fly from Doha to Manchester back home for a small admin charge, this advice in itself would have saved us all the drama, hassle and money we came to lose. They were unhelpful and have cost us several thousand pounds in additional flight costs due to not understanding the procedures and terms of the flight company they represent and sold us tickets for. To add even more complexity to this unavoidable mess - the flight they sold was a codeshare which meant that the airline that sold the ticket i. E Malaysia airlines was not the actual airline that operated the flight i. E Qatar airways. Consequently, we were denied boarding from our flight and it took two days to return home via Paris with two children. Last minute.com were unhelpful before the departure date and even worse after the incident unfolded. I have managed to recovered £2100. 00 after weeks of hardball complaining but that was only because guess what the airline did refund their tickets and would do so 90 days after the departure date of an unused ticket. All other out of pocket expenses they declined to cover sighting the most unjust reason I've heard of, we feel you could have been clearer with your request ( I roll my eyes) as I clearly stated in a live chat that we cannot fly back from Malaysia as we will no longer will be travelling there. Clearly wasn't clear enough! AVOID there are plenty other travel companies that you can use, you will regret it if you use this company.
