I booked a flight to travel from Ireland to Egypt on an Irish website.I paid monies 938 euro .When confirmation received the company had made booking fro. Egypt to Ireland .I tried to cancel and rebook and was shunted from person to person and eventually ignored..I had to cancel flights directly with Air Egypt and pay full amount for new flights .I have continued to try to contact kart minute .com to seek a refund and continue to be ignored.This company is a con do not use

They sell you a 4 star hotel and give you a dirty and dated hotel, they charge you 1000 pound for refundable hotel with cancelation option and they give your about 400pound in voucher if you want to cancell or change it , their reason is that you booked a package. . Very disappointing experience with lastminute.com.
I booked a trip and started requesting cancellation at 8am the next morning due to an urgent family matter, even before I received full confirmation of the booking. Despite acting quickly, I was given completely conflicting information by multiple agents.
One agent told me only the hotel was non-refundable, while another later said the entire booking is non-refundable. This inconsistency is extremely frustrating and misleading.
Additionally, agents repeatedly ended the chat without properly resolving my issue, leaving me without clear answers or support.
I was also sent a quotation with no proper breakdown, and insurance documents that do not include the names of the insured passengers, making it impossible to verify whether the policy actually applies to me.
This lack of transparency, poor communication, and unprofessional handling of a time-sensitive request is unacceptable. Customers should be able to rely on accurate information, especially when they act promptly.
I would not recommend using this service based on my experience.
I had an extremely disappointing experience dealing with Lastminute.com, Lufthansa, and Virgin Atlantic. I was passed from one company to another, with each refusing to take responsibility for a very sensitive situation.
I was asked to provide medical documentation, which I went out of my way to obtain only to then be told the issue was the airline’s responsibility. When I contacted the airlines, they redirected me back to Lastminute.com, saying the decision was theirs. This endless back-and-forth showed a complete lack of coordination and accountability.
In the end, no one was willing to help. I was forced to pay significantly more to rebook a new passenger instead of resolving a straightforward issue. There was no empathy, no flexibility, and no real customer care just rigid policies and a focus on extracting more money.
This has been one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. I will be doing everything I can to avoid using these companies again in the future.

I made a last-minute booking with this company (Ref: 3181290021), and my experience has been extremely frustrating.
Since 12/04/2026, I’ve been trying to amend my booking, but it has been nearly impossible to get any real help. There is no proper customer support—every time I reach out, I’m either put off or told someone will follow up, which never actually happens.
They claim to call back, but when they do, the phone only rings once and immediately goes to an engaged tone when answered. It feels like a deliberate tactic to avoid speaking to customers.
Overall, there is a serious lack of customer service and accountability. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to avoid using this company.
If I could give them 0 star I would of do it!

2025 decemberben bukkantam rá erre a csodálatos utazási irodának nevezett bandára! Én voltam a híbás, soha nem foglaltunk náluk, de most valamiért megtetszett.
303 000 ft vontak le a kártyámról, ami a repúlöjegyet és a szállást foglalta magába. Eddig nem is kételkedtem, majd januárban balesetem volt és módosítani szerettem volna az utazás időpontját. Na innen indult el a lavina! Hetekig írtam nekik emailt, angolul- magyarul ahogy éppen, válasz egy gépi sablon üzenet, telefonon nem tudod elérni őket. chat levelezésre talán valaki válaszol de nem érti mit akarsz! Szóval felhívtam a légitársaságot, ahol kiderült, hogy lefoglalták a repülőjegyet de nem fizették ki, nekem kellett + 80 000 ft. Felhívtam a szállást ahol nem is tudtak rólunk. Irtam a Lasminute -nak akik azt írták vissza dolgoznak az ügyön! Érdekes egyből tudtak írni, ahogy leírtam, hogy a szállodában mit mondtak. A lényeg, időpontot nem módosítottak, a pénzt lenyelték! Hát én meg mindenhol feljelentettem öket!!! Senki, de tényleg senki ne foglaljon náluk!!!!!!

Jeg og min søster skulle til Egypt, hovedstaded cairo, og så til Sharm el sheikh. Booket fly og hotell via lastminute.com.
Lite viste vi at helvette skulle starte. Etter 20 timers reise ankom vi endelig cairo, tok taxi til hotellet som var 1 time unna byen. Kommer fram til hotellet midt på natten for å så få høre at vi IKKE har booking med dem.
Hotellet hadde stoppet med online bookinger, og dermed hadde de ikke fått tak i hotellet for å bekrefte bookingen vår. Men de ga oss aldri beskjed at vi ikke hadde booking.
Etter det sa de at de beklagde å skulle gi oss penger tilbake, samt betale for hotellene vi måtte kjøpe på nytt. Men det skjedde aldri.
De skylder meg totalt 3-4000kr for hotellene..
De sa de skulle dekke alt, har både screenshot av meldinger å mailer fra dem. Snakket med dem på tlf også.
De mener at de ikke kunne gi meg pengene fordi at jeg måtte ha bekreftelse av bookingen (noe som jeg hadde på 2 av 3 hotell) fordi. Da vi ikke hadde booking på første hotellet, ble vi ikke lagt inn, og dermed har ikke hotellbooking bekreftelse (har bare screenshot av bank kvitering fra kortet vi brukte til å betale med)
Og så! Mente de at de ikke kunne gi oss pengene på de andre hotellene fordi at vi hadde booket et hotell som enten hadde en mer/en mindre stjerne enn original hotellet, eller at det kostet 100kr mer/mindre enn original hotellet, noe de aldri sa noe på. De nevnte IKKE at det måtte være nøyaktig samme prisklasse, eller nøyaktig samme rating osv.
De sa de kunne gi meg 350kr tilbake av de 4000kr vi måtte bruke, FOR TRE DAGER HOTEL!
Har anmeldt dem, og tatt kontakt med forbrukerrådet.
Føler meg lurt av de ansatte da de har bekreftet mange ganger at pengene sku vi få, og at dette var en feil de hadde gjort. Det er snart 1 måned siden vi reise, og har sendt de mail for å høre om oppdatering hver eneste dag siden. Det tok dem 1 måned og svare meg etter alt styret startet, etter jeg måtte kontake de via chat bot på nettsiden, og true dem med anmeldelse.
Skal aldri bruke denne nettsiden igjen, og ingen ansatte dær var noe hjelpsom i det hele tatt.
Payed 600 euro extra for a new flight. The flight should have 2 stops, only 2 flights got confirmed and last flight not so can’t reach my destination. Already for 3 days writing with them since they are only available by chat. They ignore my emails and only tell me I will receive an email soon. My flight is going in 12 hours and I’m totally stressed out. It looks like they only send standard messages. I tried literally everything!
No help if you have a problem
Flight got canceled, no one to call only chat very slow to respond, rude and don't know anything, technical issues, can't connect to my file, can't do anything, completely useless. Don't know anything about cancelation. Just tell me not to worry and wait that someone might one day get back to me. Disrespectful, taking customers for fools. Just a waste of time. I contested my credit card charge.

My flight got canceled and I had to chat to lastminute.com people who did not know anything, just told me someone would contact me yesterday to give any information. Didn't happen. Went through the chat again. They told me someone will contact me but they did not when if days or weeks or months... just contest the charge on your credit card.
A nightmare that went on for half a year with no results
I have booked a return flight ticket with a third party platform Lastminute.com in August 2025 through recommendation from Skyscanner. It was a flight from Amsterdam (via Frankfurt) to Chengdu, China, operated by Lufthansa and Air China. What I have experienced is untruthful treatment from Lastminute.com who refused to issue a full refund (blaming everything was on the airline) while it was within my right.
My flight was supposed to take off in October, but in September I received an email notification from Lastminute.com that my flight was cancelled. After contacting the airline directly, I understood that the inbound flight from Chengdu had a time change, which leaves too little time for a transfer in Frankfurt. As the airline explained that I was eligible for a full refund, they advised me to contact Lastminute.com to initiate this process since the ticket was booked by them.
I have contacted Lastminute.com directly afterwards, and their customer support also confirmed that I was indeed eligible for a refund. I have contacted them many many times in between, but was only able to receive an update in NOVEMBER (a month after the journey already took place) that the refund was not possible. Lastminute.com has declined to issue a refund with no clear clause, blaming everything on the airline.
After chasing their support team many many times again, refused to get off their live chat, they finally assigned a contact person from their claim team to handle my case. After months of back and forth, they still claim that the airline has refused to issue the refund, and they are working on it, without being able to provide any proof of communication.
My take on this case so far:
- Lastminute.com had a special deal with the airline, which is meant for specific routes. When the schedule changed, they could no longer coordinate the changes. So they just declared my flight cancelled, when it was actually not the case. They just won't do the due diligence of rescheduling customers. Well...why would them do more work for money they already earned (and refused to pay back)?
- Lastminute.com has intentionally waited until my flight has already passed to start handling my case. They have been delaying the process despite my effort of chasing them long before the ticket dates. My flight was announced "cancelled" before the trip, and the decision of "refund not possible based on airline policy" only came after the flight time already passed.
- There is a HUGE discrepancy with their automated email notification, while I was clearly eligible for a full refund when filing a complaint directly with Lastminute. This is very clear that they just do this for every single customer and wish no body will come to claim. Typical scam move to deny customers' right to get their money back.
- The whole procedure was done without any proof of communication. I can never verify if the response of airline is true or not. It feels like a standard scam Lastminute.com uses to treat their customers. If the flights take off as planned, they are all good. But if there is any changes, they declare the flights cancelled and refuse the refund and blame everything on the airline.
- I have contacted AirChina many times and they have been very helpful. They offered to change the dates within one year, unfortunately I could not make it to those dates and the fixed route from previous booking. What they have informed me is always in conflict with what Lastminute.com told me. Sadly Air China couldn't help me more since the only way to deal with it is through Lastminute.com. I have also checked it on many forums that many customers have the same experience.

Holiday Cancelled by THEM, Refund Slashed — Hidden charges
Avoid this company — my experience was unacceptable and deeply frustrating.
I booked a holiday through them, only for the company itself to cancel my trip. Despite this, they continued to apply charges linked to the booking dates.
When I requested a refund for the total amount paid (£630.10), they kept more than 50% of the tamount I paid. They justified this by pointing to “fine‑print” clauses, non‑refundable commissions, and vague “rights” they claim to reserve. They also repeatedly blamed their providers — in my case, the hotel SOL Lanzarote — saying the hotel charged cancellation fees.
However, the hotel actually offers free cancellation up to a specific date, and in my situation, my trip was cancelled in February for a June booking. There was no legitimate reason for any hotel cancellation fee.
Whenever I questioned these inconsistencies, they hid behind the excuse that they are “just a travel agent” and cannot influence how their suppliers handle cases, leaving me with no support and no resolution.
Communication was a nightmare — I spent days, then weeks, trying to reach anyone via chat, and even when I finally got through, nothing progressed.
Based on my experience, I strongly advise avoiding this company. I attached a few screenshots from the conversation with them today, 9th April 2026.
They cancel my flight, asked for refund and after 2 month they give me back only the flight ticket money !!!!!!claiming that extra baggage was not included!!!!!!
I paid 903 they refund me only 702 and telling me I need to contact with original company which leads for no where
