WARNING: PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS
I would give zero stars if I could. This company are DREADFUL. They have no customer service skills whatsoever and their practices are not legally complaint. WARNING!: If you make a complaint, they will try and throw a 100 euro LM.com voucher at you to silence you but will refuse to provide any form of refund no matter what you have endured. In my instance, they didn't even bother to try and contact the hotel whilst I was stuck in a foreign country other than sending an email to one of their own employees which was ignored (still to this day). Worse still, when you tell them you are not happy and this matter needs investigating or they should contact someone/do SOMETHING, they just tell you to speak to ATOL - ATOL DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE ISSUES AT ALL. They are completely negating and avoiding their legal responsibilities and I am left with no choice but to file court proceedings against LM.com which I am in the process of commencing now. This is the second time they have done this to me so please, for your own sanity, AVOID THIS SHAMEFUL, SHAM OF A COMPANY and purchase elsewhere.
The first instance was being stranded in a foreign country because one of their sub-companies had gone bust and they hadn't bothered to inform me or make any further arrangements. It was during a festival on the island so no-where AT ALL to stay - I sorted this out myself but was told to sleep on the beach.
On this second occasion after being assured by them that this first instance was a one-off and it would not happen again, I was placed in a dreadful hotel serving rotten food, incredibly thin walls meaning the recipiant of my phone calls could hear my next door neighbours being intimate, other neighbours physically fighting eachother at all hours or the night, lying about having an indoor pool which turns out, hasn't even been built yet, uncomfortable single bed, air conditionning/heating not working, doors banging constantly,... the list really does go on and on. RUINED my special birthday and health recovery celebration trip! You couldn't pay me to use this company again and I would urge anyone else to proceed with caution. They really do not care about the customer or the customers experience and their process of investigating complaints is to send a third-party booking agent an email to let them know there was an issue (feedback)... and that's it. Simply saying this member of staff hasn't responded and then lying about whether they have contacted the hotel or not is simply inexcusable! Shame on you LM.com and failure to recognise consumers rights is illegal...
