Delicious! Loved every aspect of this place. The menu is a prix fixe where you choose a protein and it comes with a Salatim full of different side options and even dessert at the end. There is also an a la carte menu with a few different options to add on. The fries were honestly perfectly fried and salted. Would definitely come back!
Laser Wolf, the perpetually buzzing Mediterranean rooftop, delivers the kind of entrance that makes you feel as if you’ve wandered into a Tel Aviv daydream perched above the skyline. The open kitchen is a spectacle in itself, a choreographed chaos of flame, steel, and motion that somehow feels like part of the show.
The prix fixe procession arrives with generosity, and the service team moves with almost theatrical warmth, tending to guests with an ease that makes the whole meal feel celebratory.
On the plate, the excitement meets a touch of reality. The Chicken Shishlik remains a standout, smoky and tender. The Halloumi, grilled to a golden edge, finds welcome contrast in its accompaniments: apple burnt honey that drapes sweetness without tipping into syrupy territory, and pistachio dukkah adding crunch and spice. It’s one of the most thoughtful dishes of the night.
The salatim assortment is uneven. A few shine – the velvety hummus, the rich & smoky babganoush, and a bright pineapple and celery mix – all begging to be scooped up with the warm, pillowy pita. The remainder feel alright but less distinctive, more supporting cast than co-stars.
Still, the experience is intentionally shaped, from the balance of flavors to the soft-serve finale that lands as the perfect cool-down after a feast. Arrive hungry, settle into the rooftop glow, and enjoy being pampered. On the right night and in the right mood, Laser Wolf earns its reputation.
I had a really upsetting experience with the man who was a host Thursday evening. I wasn’t able to reach them by phone, so I stopped and asked if they had a table for 3.
The host looked up at me seemingly bothered and said he “might” have a table in 30 min. I said, “Great, why “might”?” As I looked at Resy, there were several openings for tables in 30-45 minutes. Did something change? He then told me “I guess there is” with a tone as if I was inconveniencing him by offering my patronage.
There was no line when I walked in; he was just walking to a coworker.
We ended up going somewhere else, where we were treated as welcome guests rather than annoyances.
