I was recommended to Ku by Jo S. He has always been very helpful. However, Alex B is not so in my opinion. I paid a 60% deposit in Nov 2022 and the balance in March 2023. However when I arrived later in March from the UK to pick it up, the bike was not even built and the cranks were different than specified.None of this was communicated in advance. I then had to chase several times to receive the replacement cranks which then arrived mid April with import duties which I had to pay. I was then repeatedly hassled by Alex to return the original cranks even though I had no tools to replace them and had to pay for this to be done.This is a high value bike but without the high value service. I would not recommend dealing with Alex B. Ku claim to have sold 200 plus bikes but have nowhere near that number in good reviews. Given Alex B is very focused on Google reviews when you buy a bike from Ku, that says it all in my opinion.
UPDATE: 3.4.24. The response below from Ku cycle simply confirms my review. Rather than accepting the valid criticism made they decide to ignore it. Here are the facts::
1. Ku state on their website “”guaranteed delivery within 12 weeks.”. Fact, it may be delivered in 12 weeks but won’t necessarily be the bike you ordered and you won’t know before you have to pay the balance. Prior to paying the final balance, I asked for pictures of the completed bike but received nothing as it was not even built as I found out on the day of collection. However, I was told in advance of collection the bike was ready.
2. The gift of “Eur 250” for a different saddle is like their website and my experience completely misleading and false. A high quality saddle was already ordered and paid for in advance and therefore the so called “gift:” is only the difference in price - a completely insignificant sum..
3. Google did remove my original review because I identified Alex B with his full surname but not because of the nature of my review. When I re-posted it as Alex B , Google has been fine with it as it is valid criticism.
Nothing I have said is factually incorrect. It is an honest opinion of my experience. Having completed 18 full distance Ironman events including 3 World championships, I would even say the bike is not faster than my Cervelo P3. That’s been my experience.

I believe you will have noted, we have tried to call you one more than one occasion to discuss your review below and address this matter in a civil and friendly matter.
You have never taken our calls.
As a company we were greatly surprised about your review because:
1. Despite a shortage of SRAM RED cranks in the market, we prepared the bike for you to race Ironman South Africa on time.
2. Once we managed to source the SRAM RED crank, we shipped it to you in the UK for a replacement of the Force crank that we had installed.
3. We can not help that the British tax Authorities charged you a small import duty as we are located in Europe.
We have tried our very best to resolve the matter for you in a professional manner.
You forget to mention in your review that you and our CEO had various personal conversation while you were in our office where you never mentioned any problem whatsoever. Our CEO even provided you with a ISM saddle valued at €250 absolutely for free . You offered to pay for the saddle, but our CEO mentioned it was a gift to make up for the replaced RED crankset with a Force crankset. You gracefully accepted the gift.
You even sent some wonderful feedback about your new Ku TF1 bike after your Ironman South Africa race and made complementary remarks about the speed of the bike. Once you went home and felt the wait for the SRAM Red crank was too long, you changed your attitude completely which subsequently resulted in a very personal attack on our company CEO. We feel this is so unnecessary and the first time you posted your review on Google, Google in fact your review due to the very personal nature of your attack on one person. Two months after your review was removed by Google, you made the effort to repost your review again and even made your remarks stronger. Some of your remarks have nothing to do at all with your customer experience or the product itself, but are purely posted to discredit one person in particular and our company as a whole. Salim, we have tried to service you as best as possible and you were so complementary about it at the time of picking up your bike and after your first race. We would have welcomed your phone call or for you to take our calls to discuss the matter, as we would have loved to work out a win-win solution in a humane manner, as your post is just so off from all of our other customer reviews. We wish you the very best and are always available to service you from the heart.

Geweldige service van het begin tot het eind.
Paar maanden geleden het project aangegaan voor mij en mijn vrouw voor 2 custom bikes voor challenge Almere.
Ondanks dat het net wat kort dag zou worden hebben ze hebben een aarde bewogen om onszelf fietsen te realiseren.
Eerst een intake waarin wensen worden besproken, dan een speciale bikefit speciaal voor hun fiets, gevolgd door een gesprek over de paintscheme. Waarin letterlijk al je wensen waargemaakt kunnen worden.
Dan wordt de fiets gemaakt en gemonteerd en nemen ze de tijd voor je om bij de dag van ophalen opnieuw een fitter te regelen en zelfs een aero test te doen.
Zijn geen goedkope fietsen maar zoek je een high end triatlon fiets kan ik geen betere aanraden. Vermits andere high end modellen in de zelfde price range zitten.
En als laatste wat ons ook enorm heeft gecharmeerd is dat ze ons als amateur en liefhebber echt als atleet hebben doen voelen. Geen moment hebben het gevoel gehad dat we minder waren dan een ander.
Echt een top service van het begin tot het eind.

Fast bikes, passionate people, fair business!
Kú sponsored me for two years in pursuing my duathlon dreams, and I will be a life-long ambassador of the innovative bike brand. The Kú-team combine their passion for top sports with their knowledge of how to make an extremely fast bike. As an athlete, I have always felt fully supported without feeling any pressure beyond what I put on myself.
The Kú TF1 is amazing: it might look quirky when one sees it without a rider on it, but when someone is professionally fitted on one it starts looking great. And when one then hears about the aerodynamic reasons behind every quirk, it all starts to make sense.
The Kú-service is excellent as well. Many solutions (e.g. the SRAM blip-holders, 3D-printed handlebar grips, aerodynamically optimized bento-box) are custom-made and keep being improved, so that all the details together tell you that this bike is something else.
Can and will recommend it to anyone!

I am incredibly happy with my Ku Cyclery. I have been racing triathlons for 15+ years now and I have not seen a more incredible bike! These bikes are super aero and comfortable to ride! Since switching over, I am riding noticeably faster at the same power/effort as my previous bikes. If that wasn’t enough, their team is terrific. Very passionate and always willing to help!

I was recommended Ku through my coach and couldn't be any more satisfied with my dealings with them to date!!!
They have provided a very personal service, my dimensions were measured and a bike was ordered to my specific geometry & colour requests. I was in touch with the Australian rep John Hallis the whole way through the production.
The bike itself was build in a timely manner and I am 100% satisfied with the final product.
Highly recommend Ku to anyone looking to purchase a triathlon bike!

If you‘re looking for a new TT bike, it would be foolish to not take the TF1 into consideration. I cant praise enough how fast yet comfortable the bike is and you can see within multiple Aero Tests that almost everybody reduces his or her CDA simply by switching from his or her current bike to the TF1. It‘s no suprise that over 20 agegroup athletes could qualify for Ironman Hawaii last year riding the TF1.
On top of getting the fastest bike out there you can also choose your own favourite design and make many mouths drop when entering the Transition zone of your next Triathlon.
Make no mistake, get a Kú TF1!!!

I switched from Trek to Ku Cycle. To make a long story short : I gained 3km per hour on average for the same watts on 90km. The performance of the TF1 are mind-blowing compared to other top end triathlon bikes. I can only recommend.
I would like to thank Alex Bok and his Team who provided a service of excellency and accompanied me throughout the entire project.
Special Thanks also to Joseph Spindler (and his wife), official Kú fitter, who tailored the bike to me from the bike fit to the last precise adjustments to make the bike very confortable on top of the performances.

Extremely happy with my Kú Cycle TF1, as I was always having trouble with my lower back while riding my old triathlon bikes, the TF1 makes riding much more comfortable and I am saving watts at the same time. Very easy to adjust the bike by yourself. Accessible communication with experienced staff.

Riding the TF1 feels safe and comfortable. And most important: it is REALLY FAST!!
The bike is individually built and corresponds exactly to your size. For me as a small person, it is the first time that my bike really fits me perfectly and allows a very good aerodynamic position.

What a bike 🤩
It started from an idea, like always. It’ s like IM, when you got it in head, you’re already riding. Kù TF1 is New for me. What a bike, a machine, a good rocket sitting on it.
Kù cycle made a great bike and a superbe colour ! No need to say that after first ride, data started to speak on good way. Thanks to all the Team and Wicked. Really impressive.

With Kú Cycle, the vision and process revolve around the interaction of the rider’s body and the bike. They know the importance of an excellent bike fit and need precise measurements to custom make your bike so not any old bike fit will do. They work with top notch fitters, which is an experience in itself, and the best part is that this quality fit is included in the price of the bike. Then, any small adjustments needed are also carried out by experts, in my case, on collection of the bike, and I’d fully recommend a trip to Amsterdam for collection, though not just for this reason. Being there really makes you feel even more like a valued customer and like part of the Kú Cycle family.
Then they have their very own aero camp and although it is not compulsory, again, I’d highly recommend it as it’s such an awesome and useful experience which only top pros would usually get, but this company fully appreciates the benefits of the information gained for all riders of all levels. You get to ask questions and learn about everything and anything from the bike production itself, to specific adjustments and maintenance as well as all the insights into where further performance gains can be made in your particular case. The main aero camp’s objectives are very data driven but the camp itself really does offer so much more.
In my decision to buy a new bike, speed was important but comfort also, and having ridden my TF1 for a few weeks now, I am conscious of how very much faster I am covering the same ground, how much more enjoyable rides are, and how relaxed I am on my Kú Cycle, so much so, I have decided to name it Royce because of the way it makes me feel when it Rolls… though maybe I should have named it Ferrari?!

Na een paar maanden met eigen TF1 te hebben gereden op de turbo trainer heb ik afgelopen maand deelgenomen aan het aero kamp van KÚ Cycle op de wielerbaan in Apeldoorn. Tijdens deze dagen vond er een fine-tuning plaats op de eerder gedane bike fit en won ik nogmaals 7 watt met een zeer comfortabele houding op de fiets!
De grote verrassing kwam echter afgelopen zondag, na een training van 220km, waarbij ik op mijn ‘ oude’ triathlon fiets redelijk brak van de fiets afstapte, voelde dat nu totaal anders! Een bevestiging van mijn keus voor KÚ Cycle.
Het is bijzonder dat de snelste triathlon fiets op de markt ook nog eens zo comfortabel kan zijn !

Very comfortable ! Probably the best bike I ever had. If you are searching for a bike that worse the price in terms of performance, you are in the right place. The shape is original, and trust me you will fell in love with it, that's part of the performance game. Last point, the Ku cycle team, very good people, you are not in a bike shop !

I raced the 2022 season with the TF1, after five seasons on a Trek Speed Concept 9.9. From my first ride, the speed advantage of the TF1 was perceptible. I took 10+ minutes off my bike time at IMLP. I was able to dial a great fit, ride with comfort, and power the bike to the best of my ability. The Ku team is phenomenal for their customer service. I am very proud to ride their bike and support this great company.

Look no more, the last triathlon bike you'll ever need is here. Ku Cycle's TF1 has redesigned the triathlon bike and the results speak for themselves. After only riding this bike for 2 hours, I raced Ironman Des Moines and felt the instant aerodynamic advantage as I hit a cross tail wind. When riding in my local community, other riders say they can feel all the air go through my bike and hit them, reducing the amount of draft they can get.
Another great aspect of Ku Cycle is they are really amazing people. They treat you like family, something we don't tend to see as much any more.

The experience day ensured correct fit, CDA to the perfect position and adjustments as needed... not many bike shops do that for you! The whole team approach to making sure that things were right created a feeling of a company who cares ands wants an athlete to enjoy their bike. Creating a custom build bike was essential for me personally to get the correct fit and this bike certainly fits like a dream and rides just as fast! The support we had from the team at the IM World Championships was second to none and having a team or "family" around you during times when things feel pretty stressful was amazing. Ku went the extra mile to make you feel like part of a team or "family'! If you are thinking of building your dream bike ... reach out to them :)
