This modern Thai/Thai fusion spot in Williamsburg is a good spot for a date night. The interior is intimate, and cozy. Service here is good.
I came here for a group dinner with three friends and we ordered their steak tartare, lamb shank, and branzino (they have a fairly small menu). Everything was pretty solid. I enjoyed their steak tartare and thought that it was really unique that they paired the dish with fried tripe. Notes of lemongrass and other spices were really strong, reminding me of Southeast Asia. The lamb shank was flavorful and the meat was so tender. And, the branzino was also delicious. I would note that the portions were a lot smaller than we expected, and everything was a bit on the pricier side. Overall, a nice restaurant for some good food but I would personally prefer more authentic, casual Thai food.
This is the best meal I've had in a long time. We went for restaurant week and tried the lobster tartare, crab bite, squid salad, steak tartare, lamb shank and branzino. Everything was amazing but the lobster and branzino were my favorite. The branzino was definitely different than your typical Thai steamed fish and packed with so much flavor. The lamb had an amazing fall off the bone texture but was a touch too salty for me. We also got dessert which was a toasted rice ice cream from Caffe panna over peaches, with some creme fraiche (and topped with a raspberry coulis?) which was phenomenal. As always, Panna nailed the texture of the ice cream and the flavors paired beautifully together. I want to go back to try the regular menu, because the quality of the food here is well worth the money.
