Thank you for your feedback regarding the recent experience with our service. We take all reviews seriously and would like to address the concerns raised. It is true that there were initial issues with the panel fit and silicone work, which we promptly remedied in November to Wrightway’s satisfaction. The benchtop installation was completed on November 1st, and the issue was brought to our attention on December 21st, the last working day of 2023. The mark on the benchtop, which was the source of the complaint, is only visible at a very specific angle, up close, and under certain lighting conditions. This made it difficult to notice, which is why it was not pointed out to us for nearly two months. Despite this, we aimed to exceed NZ building standards and offer a satisfactory resolution to Wrightway construction. We explored several solutions, including repair, replacement, and compensation. However, Wrightway’s client was primarily interested in compensation that was significantly higher than the cost of the benchtop itself. While we offered replacement as a viable solution, it was not acceptable to their client. During the process, we also found a company that could repair the mark. Unfortunately, on the day of the scheduled repair, the client cancelled the appointment and reiterated their demand for compensation. Shortly after this, you have posted the review. We understand Wrightway’s frustration and regret that our efforts to resolve the issue to the client’s satisfaction were unsuccessful. Our goal has always been to provide high-quality service and resolve any issues amicably. We hope to have the opportunity to improve and provide better service in the future.
