Melissa Rinehart is absolutely exceptional. From the very beginning, she made an incredibly difficult and stressful situation feel manageable. She was patient with my many questions, always kept me informed, and took the time to explain what was happening and what I could expect before each step. That level of communication gave me tremendous peace of mind.
Melissa is professional, knowledgeable, compassionate, responsive, and genuinely cares about her clients. Even though I wish I had never been in a situation where I needed an attorney, I truly could not have asked for a better person to represent and guide me through it.
Melissa, thank you so much for everything. You went above and beyond, and I am incredibly grateful. I would recommend you without hesitation to anyone looking for an attorney they can truly trust. Five stars doesn’t feel like enough!

I had an excellent experience with King & Siegel, and I especially want to recognize James, Julian, and Robert, along with the associates and paralegals who worked on my case.
One thing I appreciated from the very beginning was how thorough they were. They did not hear my story and immediately sign me as a client. They took the time to understand the facts, review the history, ask a lot of questions, and really vet the case before we even entered into an engagement agreement.
I can understand why someone who contacts a law firm and is not taken on as a client might be disappointed. But having actually gone through the process with King & Siegel, I saw firsthand how much time and thought they put into evaluating a case before deciding to move forward. That same level of care continued throughout my case.
James Baker in particular was professional, thoughtful, and very strategic. He never made feel-good promises nor told me only what I wanted to hear. He was straightforward about the process, the risks, and what could realistically happen. I respected that and came to trust his judgment.
Everything moves very, very slowly. It is nothing like lawsuits on TV. There can be long stretches where it feels like nothing is happening, but there is a lot going on behind the scenes. Discovery, depositions, strategy, negotiations, and all the back and forth take time. The firm was excellent about communicating with me and helping me understand where things stood.
At some point, you have to trust the process and trust the people handling your case. I trusted James, Robert, and Julian, and I am glad I did. I am genuinely proud that King & Siegel represented me.
If you are looking for a fast-moving settlement mill that sends scary aggressive letters right away and promises a quick payday, this probably is not the firm for you. If you want attorneys who will learn the facts, think strategically, communicate with you, and take the time to handle your case the right way, I would absolutely recommend them.
I retained K&S to represent me in a whistleblower retaliation case, and they achieved a very successful outcome through strong strategy and dedication. My initial consultation was with Julian and Robert, who were attentive and asked the right questions. As the case progressed, James became the attorney I worked with most closely, and he devoted significant time and attention to my matter. He took the time to understand what happened and showed genuine empathy for my experience. That matters because an attorney is the voice that tells your story. James and Robert kept me involved in every major decision and were always patient and responsive. I was also impressed by K&S's fee structure, which was the most reasonable of the firms I consulted. I highly recommend K&S. Julian, Robert, and James are true advocates.
Just a pure waste of time. I was referred to this law firm for a wrongful termination case against my former employer related to being terminated after taking protected medical leave. I have a very strong case with extensive supporting documentation.
I had an initial meeting with an intake specialist, who then scheduled another call with whom I assumed was an attorney. During that call, I presented the details of my case to a woman who, in my opinion, seemed to be gaslighting me about my claims rather than engaging with the facts. She asked me to gather specific documentation and email it to the firm, which I promptly did.
After fulfilling that request, I had another phone call scheduled with a different attorney at the firm, who asked me the exact same questions I had already answered during intake. Once again, I felt gaslit about my case, only to receive a generic rejection letter from the firm a month later.
It was simply a month of my life wasted while trying to navigate a very sensitive and traumatic experience. Thanks for nothing.
I had a great experience with King & Siegel LLP. From the beginning, they treated my case with professionalism, compassion, and respect. Megan was especially wonderful to work with. She kept me informed, answered my questions, and truly made me feel like she believed in my case. Thanks to the team's hard work and dedication, we reached a satisfactory resolution. I highly recommend King & Siegel to anyone looking for an employment law firm that genuinely advocates for their clients.
I had a great experience with King & Siegel. They represented me throughout my case, and thanks to their hard work and dedication, we won. From the very beginning, they were professional, knowledgeable, and kept me informed every step of the way. They answered my questions, made the process much less stressful, and truly fought for the best possible outcome. I'm incredibly grateful for their support and would highly recommend King & Siegel to anyone looking for an experienced and trustworthy legal team.
I was represented by Melissa Rineheart and throughout litigation I felt I was represented fairly and honestly. Melissa and her staffer, Marteen were on top of communication and provided several options throughout the back and forth with my employer. If you’re seeking a reliable and knowledgeable team go with them!

I didn’t have a good experience with this firm. Specifically horrible experience with Megan and the entire intake process team. From the beginning of the process, your firm was aware of the party I intended to file suit against. If your current caseload prevented you from taking on new clients, I do not understand why I was asked to provide further documentation. I spent time submitting proof, medical documents, and witness information, only to be declined after these materials were requested.
Furthermore, I never had the opportunity to speak directly with an attorney to discuss the merits of my case or my desired outcomes. I meet all the criteria for this legal action, and I believe a demand letter or a settlement negotiation could have addressed my termination and helped me continue my law enforcement career. No one from your office asked what result I was looking for before making this decision.
I believe it is inefficient to request extensive documentation from potential clients if the firm already knows it does not have the capacity to take on their specific case.
They were a complete waste of my time. During the intake form process they knew who I was filing a law suit against. Because of that they should’ve not asked me for further documentation if they already had clients with a case load. I never talked to an attorney directly only people assisting them and they said they will forward the paperwork. I meet all criteria’s for the case. They could’ve asked for a settlement and issue a public statement correcting my termination so I may continue my law enforcement career. They never even asked me what outcome I wanted or anything. A lawyer could’ve sent a demand letter, that would’ve did some justice. I have proof documents, medical documents & witnesses. If they knew they had a major caseload they shouldn’t have asked me for further documentation when I contacted them in the first place. They asked me for proof and said it’s attorney client privilege and then when I sent paperwork they responded almost two weeks later saying they have other clients and need to focus on them. I turned down other law firms that asked to take on my case, thinking they were my attorneys. I had a horrible experience overall. What my agency did was wrong and they don’t care about that. Maybe they wanted an easy win.
This was their horrible response after asking me for my paperwork………After careful consideration and a thorough review of our current caseload, we regret to inform you that we are unable to take on your case at this time. Please understand that this decision is not a reflection of the merits of your case but is solely due the need to provide our current clients with the attention and dedication they deserve and the potential demands of your specific case.

I can't recommend King & Siegel enough, especially James Baker. From start to finish, James was extremely knowledgeable, responsive and genuinely cared about achieving the best outcome for me. He made a very stressful situation easier to navigate and I had complete confidence in him every step of the way.
Unprofessional. They will waste your time and resources. Go to someone else, they don't want your business and aren't responsible or experienced enough to communicate at a business level.
I scheduled a consultation, I took time off for this, I got confirmation, and then suddenly a week later after initial scheduling I get a cancellation saying they don't have the time. They obviously would have known this prior, so why wait until literally 5 minutes before and not even call.
The intake specialist didn’t seem attentive to my specific case. I have been told by several lawyers in multiple states that I have a very strong case. The intake specialist asked several questions that suggested to me that she either wasn’t listening or had a hard time believing the facts of my case. Nevertheless, it left a very bad taste in my mouth regarding this firm, which prompted me to read reviews. Unsurprisingly, I found several others who matched my experience. While I’m able to look past the rudeness towards my case (since I know how strong it is), it makes me feel upset for the others who were treated the same.
Additionally, I had this call on (5/14) and was told by the intake specialist that I should expect to wait a week to hear back from the lawyers. I was told today (5/15) that the firm was unable to take my case. Due to these discrepancies, I can only wonder if my case was even reviewed past this initial intake call.

Hi DeAisha, thanks so much for this feedback and I’m sorry about your experience with our intake team. We are reviewing your call and will provide feedback and coaching as needed as we always strive to improve our services.
I can assure you that an attorney reviews every inquiry; sometimes that takes an hour, and sometimes it takes up to four or five days. We tell people it may take up to a week because we do not want to disadvantage people who need a quick response when we may not be able to provide it. Attorneys in our field are all looking for different fact patterns so our inability to help does not reflect on the strength of your case.
We wish you nothing but the best.

Julian King of King and Siegal is a skilled and knowledgeable attorney and was the best council I spoke with when I ran into serious issues with my employer during my pregnancy leave. She was so generous with her time and gave clear options and action steps that helped us tremendously while navigating a complicated situation!
She brought issues back into focus and put me at ease with her assessment of facts and my legal rights. She clearly cares deeply about her clients and has a passion for her work!
I can't recommend her enough. She is available, reliable, prompt and grounded in emotionally challenging circumstances.
Thank you Julian and team for your excellent service and support!
I had a great experience working with Erum at King & Siegel LLP. While Aren and Elliot were also part of the team, Erum was my main point of contact and the person I worked with most throughout the process. She handled the majority of the work and made everything feel much smoother and easier to navigate.
Erum took the time to explain things in a way that actually made sense and always made me feel comfortable asking questions. Her preparation and attention to detail were incredible — the mediator even complimented how thorough and organized her work was and said it made his job much easier.
She’s down-to-earth, professional, and truly cares about her clients. Thanks to her hard work and guidance, we were able to reach a very positive resolution. I’m very grateful for her help and would highly recommend Erum and the team at King & Siegel.

Thank you so much Maggie! We have passed this on to Erum :)
Just had a brutally uncaring and robotic intake call with this firm where they didn't convey any interest in me as a person or client (while asking me questions when those answers had already been answered on the intake form) and talked over me when I was trying to give information crucial to my case. I suggested concluding the call a few minutes in to it because it was going so poorly and they just wished me a good day and hung up before I could even say goodbye. I have spoken with AI that is more kind. I have no interest in working with an impersonal firm that doesn't care about their clients. If this is how intake goes, I cannot imagine their service is at all client focused.

Hi Matt, we're sorry your experience fell short of what you expected. We take feedback about our intake process seriously and are reviewing this internally. We wish you the best in finding representation.
I contacted King & Siegel on February 26 and spoke with an intake specialist, Caitlyn. Over the following week, while I was on a business trip, I received repeated calls and emails from her almost every day. This felt excessive given it had only been a week since my initial inquiry.
When I emailed her on March 5 to confirm I was available, I received no response. I followed up by calling the office multiple times on March 6 but still couldn’t reach anyone. Instead of a return call, I received an email stating:
“Unfortunately, we are unable to provide services to you because you have not shown interest in legal consultation at this time. Please feel free to reach back out to us if anything changes.”
It is unprofessional to bombard a potential client for a week, only to claim they 'haven't shown interest' the moment they respond. If King & Siegel is not interested in my case, there are professional ways to communicate that. Based on this intake experience, I recommend looking elsewhere. See the attached email for reference.

Hi Josie, we're sorry for the frustration. Our follow-up process has defined timelines to ensure those who need it can promptly receive advice. It looks like the team member you called was out sick on the day you returned our inquiry. This was a process failure on our part and we are changing how we monitor out of office team members' emails and voicemails as a result. If you'd like to reach back out, please feel free.
Reached out to this firm, had high hopes based on the review and attorneys profile. Intake was organized and professional, follow up with the attorney was also fine; however, what was not fine, was not not hear back after having provided so much sensitive information and then hear back via email from some attorney that I've never spoken to advising that they weren't taking my case. It was premature and cold dismissal, made no sense since a day before I was asked to provide additional information. This was a total disappointment, indicative of a disjoined firm. Excessive information was provided and was under the impression that there was a light at the end of the tunnel, however, complete opposite. Time and energy wasted and false hope, not what someone going thru such a difficult time needed.
I had reached out to this firm regarding my case almost a week ago. I received an email saying they would get back to me in a day. I have not heard anything back from them.

Mr. W, we are sorry to hear that you were dissatisfied with your experience. Our records show that you contacted us on January 26, 2026 (two days prior to this review), and that we followed up regarding your matter on January 29, 2026. While we strive to respond within one to two business days, occasional staffing constraints may result in a slightly longer response time. We wish you the best in your search for an attorney.
Wonderful experience with Andrea and the entire team at King & Siegel. During a very emotional and scary time to be dealing with challenges from the workplace, the team here was supportive and kept me informed throughout the entire process. I am forever grateful!
I received a prompt reply to my query and afollow up call back from a principal soon after. I got great advice at no charge. Though my issue isn't at the state of a case they can take on, fortunately, it relieved my mind. I recommend this firmand their business practices.
