Fantastic Just came back from an amazing 4 days here. Booked last minute as we had been looking around North Yorkshire for places to stay, came across this and I’m so glad we did. Being able to book Monday to Thursday or whatever nights you require and when can be quite rare, I love the flexibility of the bookings- so no need to book Friday to Monday or Monday to Friday, can select to come and go any day of the week! We stayed in one of the mini lodges/glamping pods. I’ve been glamping many times but this was by far the best I’ve stayed in. Spacious, all have their own hot tub, bbq area, shower, double and a bunk beds, sofa, very well equipped wardrobe and plenty of space for 2-4 people to stay in there. All lodges situated around the pond, you can watch the ducks and birds around it all day it’s so peaceful. I thought there might have been some insects and bugs from around the pond but the pod stayed absolutely spotless throughout our stay. There is an onsite swimming pool open 2-9 brilliant in there for a quick swim and play. The place is very quiet and had a decent night sleep, one of the best beds I’ve slept in also! I will definitely return here again.

Lovely site, spotless and well maintained Just enjoyed a 4 day break on the touring site. Absolutely fantastic site. Wonderful large pitches. Well kept site with lovely views. The shower blocks are spotless. The bistro on site is a wonderful addition, we enjoyed a delicious evening meal and breakfast there. The location is great for visiting Scarborugh, filey and Bridlington and other places beyond. The website states it has 47 pitches, 16 of those are seasonal leaving 31 for touring. Just to make you aware that alot of the store and stay people seem to get the 1st choice of pitch over the tourer, after speaking to a couple on the site who store their caravan there, they confirmed this. Not a problem if you don't mind which pitch you have but there are quite a few shaded pitches, under trees and not in the sun. My preference would always be south facing and away from trees. I didn't get any of the pitches I requested at the time of booking, I know you cannot always guarantee a choice of pitch. I originally was allocated pitch 2 right under a tree, I called to ask if I could move and was given another pitch which was better, but not the ones I originally would of liked. Not a deal breaker at all only my personal choice. That said I would definitely visit again. Location: 5/5

Amazing place would 100% visit again! Where to start… we had such an amazing time in the lovely glamping pods. As we arrived the staff were very helpful in checking us in, food was delicious in the bistro! When we left we realised I had left my company laptop and we needed to drive 3 hours back to get it! When we called up( late on Sunday night) we were told my laptop was still in the pod and that we can come back and get it and stay the night ! So helpful and we couldn’t more grateful them saving us doing an all round 6 hour trip at 10pm in the night!

Great time, shame about the hot tub When we arrived, everything looked just perfect, we stayed in Yard End for my 70th birthday, there were 12 of us and there was ample room. Bedrooms were all good sizes with master having en suite with a further two bathrooms. Complimentary tbags/coffee/prosecco etc nice touch. When we first got there on the Friday, the jets and filter in the hot tub weren't working so I reported it. A few of the staff members came to look but couldn't solve the problem. They said someone would come back on Saturday morning to empty, fix and refill. Lo and behold, nobody came. I tried to get in touch by going to reception/by ring door bell/message/left voicemail/emailed but got no reply from any of them. This was the case all over the weekend so we weren't able to use it as it was dirty at the bottom. I did complain once I got home but all I got was excuses and saying we could have used it. One more complaint was about the bin area, by Saturday, it was overflowing and rubbish everywhere, they need to arrange extra collections. Apart from these two issues, we had a wonderful time, close enough to drive into Scarborough or Filey.

Highly recommended - stunning lodges great location Just stayed at a lakeside lodge. The lodge was lovely and clean with a hot tub which was hot on arrival and all weekend ( Iv been to some before where we had nothing but trouble with it and wouldn’t heat!) - I work in the hot tub industry and contrary to previous reviews the hot tub was holiday let compliant with a self dosing filter which kept on top of the chemicals , so no need for someone to check it each day and disturb guests. complimentary Prosecco , tea bags and biscuits a nice touch. The confirmation email had all the check in instructions that the lodge would be open with keys hung up inside. Great for us as we arrived and got straight in the tub! The lakeside was peaceful and well kept. The car park is a short walk which we preferred no cars driving around where we was sat. We ate in the onsite restaurant twice which was 10/10. Food was excellent. Would highly recommended Killerby Hall and will definitely be back again!
