Just back from a brilliant weekend in Killarney with Rorys travel club. We stayed at the Heights Hotel and the staff couldn't be any nicer, super helpful and friendly.
I did have a problem turning off the heat in my room (these things can happen) and the staff were so helpful moved me to another room which was perfect (which is the important thing if a problem arises).
We had dinner the first night we stayed and it was absolutely delicious plus great value. The breakfast was fab, loads of choices. Coffee was good too and I'm fussy when it comes to coffee. There was an beeper on the bedroom door if not fully closed which was a great idea. Fridge in the room. Good shower. Everything I needed.
I loved the layout with nooks and crannies, gave the building great character. It was an old mill originally that was extended. We got a taxi which reception organised into town the 2nd night for €10 and walked back as it was a lovely night.
Definitely would stay here again. Thank you 🙏🏻

Nice hotel. Hallways were a bit loud and had to request a fan as the room was very warm. The restaurant staff made me feel like a visiting someone's home. Very welcoming and the tomato bruschetta was the best thing I ate on my whole trip

Hi Kassandra, thank you so much for your kind words. We are very proud of our food offerings and it's wonderful to see that reflected in the sentiments of our guests.

Not the best value for money.
Room and facilities quite basic. Absolutely no view from the windows, also showers with no curtains / dividers.
Seem to be understaffed, breakfast chaotic and very basic for what you pay. Bread pastries we over and no one seemed to even replace them.
To be avoided, only positive was that it was a one night stay
