Perfect experience, unique hosts
An incredible experience to have in your life. We were a small group (3 people) and that was perfect. We immediately understood well, in addition to the host and the respectful staff. William, Ana and Greg made the experience perfect. Not only as hosts, but also humanly they have enriched us. We had long and uplifting conversations and laughed a lot. Really very sympathetic and a pity that I had to leave already! The staff was heartfelt and did their job perfectly. The food was varied and delicious, and without spices. Not only through Ayahuasca, but also through the experiences of William and Greg, I was able to learn a lot. This is THE place to be if you want to get to know Ayahuasca. For the next experience I will definitely come back here. The shamans were excellent and very respectful. Spending time with them really inspired me. From the beginning to the end I felt very comfortable. The experience will not only stay in my memory forever, but also in my heart. Thank you!
The most impactful, important, loving, learning and beautiful part of my life and part of my journey. My loving father runs the retreat with the rest of my beautiful family. And the staff and workers are such beautiful and nice people I’ve ever met and taught me so many things! I haven’t seen my father since I was 11 years old and I came to visit him when I was 20 years old. 10 years without seeing my family and it was an amazing time with them! Aswell as the beautiful medicine of Ayahuasca and San Pedro, I never came to Peru seeking to do this but only to see my family but deciding to do it was amazing. It changed my life so much and gave me so much growth and much self love❤️. It helped me so much! I highly recommend taking a trip there if you want to experience a beautiful and loving time feeling like family and enjoying life, aswell as learning so much and healing!! God bless love you all!

Kawsay was amazing. I went with no expectations, I only wanted to spend time with my father. After multiple ceremonies I recieved clarity I was unaware I needed. Life changing experience for the better!!
I can’t begin to state how wonderful this experience has been. This is the authentic ayahuasca experience this month was my third visit to Kawsay and let me tell you the shins here are doing incredible work the connection is there the love is there the lessons they help you understand from your ceremonies is all there. William is an incredible host and facilitator. He lives here with his family. They are all part of the experience the staff everyone is family here and it is a wonderful feeling. There’s so much unconditional love present at all times. The food is also incredible. We had a strict diet while we’re using the medicine but the food was still delicious and nutritious and I always felt that I had what I needed and there’s always someone to talk to and ask . I could give me a challenging experience, but using these medicines at Won and San Pedro a life-changing I can say this place in this experience over the course of two years three visits has fundamentally changed my life I want to keep the review about the place and how wonderful and big and spacious and how many rooms and how clean it is and the area where we have the ceremonies is beautiful and comfortable and the staff is very attentive and we also go on these wonderful excursions to nearby villages and monkey island and even got to go on a hike to a swimming hole And there’s so many things to do and there’s such a wonderful activities. That aspect of it alone is worth this trip and this retreat. It’s almost like the medicine and the healing is an added bonus. I feel that I’m with family here now. This place is become a huge part of my life and a part of my heart I recommend to anyone who is suffering from things in the past from depression or anxiety. Whatever it is that blocking you from feeling that unconditional love for yourself, and love for others, and preventing you from living the fold of your life. This is a place that can help you with those things I’ve seen in myself I’ve seen it others this place allowed me to quit using drugs. The medicine allowed me to quit having sex with strangers in a way that was very destructive for me in my life, and allow me to experiencing healing on levels, but I can cannot even describe. I am a better man because of this experience I live More dedicated life and it’s allowed me to keep my relationships alive and healthy. I had so many doubts about good things in my life before this trip and over the course of one week I have seen the truth and I’ve seen the Unconditional Love and I understand now that I can go back into my life back home and I can love the people on my life the way they deserve to be loved, and I can accept love and I wasn’t able to There’s a feeling of worthiness and deserving that I’ve never held in my heart before and I’m so glad that I returned.

I’m so happy I chose Kawsay retreat as my first ayahuasca experience. The things I were looking for when booking were authenticity, safety, cleanliness, and support during and after. The shamans that kawsay work with are from an ancient lineage and work in the light of god and come from a place of love and care. They truly healed me. I felt very safe during my entire stay. I felt unconditional love and support in all ceremony’s. During the ceremony’s the staff are always by your side if you need anything. I also felt very safe during all the excursions. The property is very clean and well maintained. Your room is cleaned very well each day and given clean towels. The staff are amazing and I felt like I could leave my belongings out and not be worried. The support I received was constant. Support during ceremony, after and through the entire experience. I feel prepared to return to my daily life with all the tools I have learned along the way and know I can reach out to Kawsay if I need anything.

In October 2023, I attended a 15-day program at Kawsay, which combined their 7-day and 8-day retreats, including a San Pedro ceremony. The journey to the retreat involved taking two boats from Iquitos, leading us into the depths of the jungle. The retreat itself, surrounded by nature, was a peaceful and beautiful spot. A key figure at the retreat was William, who owns and runs Kawsay. He was with us for the entire duration of the program. William reminded me of a church father - he was a genuinely kind and compassionate person, and his presence added greatly to the experience. The retreat included eight Ayahuasca ceremonies, which were personally impactful. It was a significant and positive experience for me. For those considering a trip to Peru to explore Ayahuasca, I would definitely recommend Kawsay as a good option.

Where do I even start… prepare yourselves that this incredible retreat in the heart of the Amazon will feel more like home than anywhere you’ve ever been. William, his family and the extended families of those working at the retreat are amongst some of the most beautiful loving people you will ever meet. The healing you will receive from both the medicine and the unconditional love from everyone here will be unlike anything you’ve ever experienced. It is crucial that you respect the medicine, wherever you choose to undertake this healing process. So ensure you trust not just the retreat but also the shamans in which they work with. 4 weeks later and I still miss waking up to the sounds of the rainforest, the warmth and love from everyone here. It’s by far the best decision I’ve ever made, but make no mistakes this is no easy ride. Ensure you are fully prepared, have done your research and be very strict with the diet!! The most authentic and transformative experience of my life. William and the entire staff, the 3 generations of shamans took such good care of us. The maloka, cermony room, was a profound space where we spent lots of cermony time which released so much and cleaned so much within me.
