Do not use this company unless you're willing to chase them for months and eventually take legal act I first contacted Kardinal mid March 2026, and I am STILL fighting to sort things. We wanted to exchange a 2 year old Cabin car for something that's more portable. Eventually, after lots of back and forth via WhatsApp (I am autistic and really struggle with phone calls) we finally agreed on a straight swap for a brand new Pride Revo 2.0. Again, lots of fighting and back and forth to sort delivery and it finally arrives (with no promised delivery slot, just randomly arrived that day). Imagine our surprise when we open it and it was very clearly used. Connor was shocked! Said it was definitely the wrong thing and he would sort it. Had to chase about the used one being collected, and again they just randomly arrived. Took it and another portable one we had, with no sign of swapping the used scooter for a new one. Eventually, I'm told that there's an issue with the brand new Pride Revo 2.0 we were supposed to get. Connor offered an upgrade to a BRAND NEW Pride Baja Bandit. Told me that the Revo was being phased out and the Bandit was replacing it or something. He sends me a picture, turns out this one is a customer return. He claimed the customer had it less than 7 days, but it looked more used than that. He claimed it was in "excellent condition", which is odd given it was supposed to be brand new. He also claimed they were waiting for a charger for it. Again, it's supposed to be brand new. How do we know the customer only had it 7 days? How do we know there's not some issue hidden away? Had to get trading standards involved, and sent a final letter before starting legal action. They sent me a picture of a "brand new" Baja Bandit they were sending, claimed it was not the customer return and was brand new. Arranged for it to be delivered on the Monday and was told we would get a time slot at 9am. Well, you guessed it! No time slot until the afternoon, 3pm. It arrives, wrapped in clingfilm and on a pallet. They take away the Pride Revo 2.0 finally. WELL SURPRISE, SURPRISE! THE SCOOTER IS DAMAGED! And my husband said it smelled of cigarettes!! Connor claims that the damage occurred in transit, under multiple layers of clingfilm. I actually managed to spot the damage on a picture HE sent me. We are back to being ignored by Connor, despite the Consumer Rights Act 2015 stating that the damaged parts must be repaired or replaced in a timely manner. I was holding off writing reviews to see how they would handle things but to be honest I've had enough. Do not use this company unless you're willing to chase them for 3+ months and take legal action. The way they treat people is disgusting, never mind that their customers are predominantly disabled.

Do not and I emphasise do not purchase from Kardinal Independent Living On the 7th August 2025 I purchased a pride go go mobility scooter from Kardinal Independent Living and were told that I would receive it in 7 to 10 working days on the tenth day the 21st August at 3:15pm no delivery so I rang them to be told that it would be delivered tomorrow Friday 22nd August which it was not so I rang them on Saturday the 23rd August at 9am and basically fed a load of bull and that I would receive the delivery on Tuesday 26th August now the seriousness of the situation is that my wife and I were booked on flights to go to New Zealand late on Saturday 23rd August which Kardinal knew about and that I can’t travel without the scooter and I can’t use a conventional self propelled wheelchair due to severe arthritis in both of my shoulders so I did talk my wife into going on ahead of me and that I would book flights and the adapted transfer vehicle once I do receive my scooter, this is the first time in 52 years that my wife and I have ever been separated from one another, it is going to cost me a further Β£2,800 for the flights to Auckland New Zealand as I have to book business class due to the fact that the seats transform into a bed as I couldn’t sit in a normal aircraft seat on long haul flights for 26 hours, also I’ve got to pay again for the adapted transfer transport from Auckland Airport to the Heartland hotel in Hamilton. Kardinal independent living should be shut down completely with immediate effect as the are a bunch of SCAMMERS and discriminate the disabled community. Once I have got everything sorted out and finally got my flight sorted I will be seeking legal representation. Paul Presley Halesowen West Midlands

Still waiting for refund - appalling service I purchased an Eden Cabin Car on 28th May with the website stating delivery in 7–10 days. Despite numerous calls and emails, I never received the scooter. In the end, I had no choice but to cancel the order and request a full refund. I was even told I’d receive updates by certain dates, but these never came. The pattern is the same every time: promises, delays, and silence. Meanwhile, I’ve been left out of pocket and my elderly father, who desperately needed the scooter, suffered a fall while waiting for something we were assured was β€œon its way.” Throughout the process, the only time I received any form of response was after I left a negative review – and I also noticed another negative review had been posted and then removed. This makes me seriously question the validity of the positive reviews shown here. I have requested a full refund (including hire costs already agreed by the company), but now even these emails are ignored. My refund was even issued via PayPal at one point, but then later cancelled, and I am still waiting for my money to be returned. This company primarily serves elderly and vulnerable people, yet my experience shows a complete lack of care, accountability, or honesty. I strongly warn others to avoid them.

Exceptional service. A company with integrity! Through no fault of theirs the showroom model [ provided by TGA was wrongly supplied and withdrawn] Within ten days Connor had accessed the scooter I wanted, a showroom model of higher specification at the same price! A very happy customer.

Should be a zero star option available to mark a company like Kardinal independent living based in Worthing. One star is way too much for the nothing they delivered and the subsequent horror to have my money back. Extremely disappointing experience lasting for month and a haft.Life is hard enough to watch someone you love struggles. When you need something to make your loved ones a bit more comfortable don't go to kardinal independent living because the only thing you will get is few extra gray hairs for all the agrivation and frustration.

Conner at Kardinal was extremely professional and made sure that we chose the right vehicle for our needs. The delivery was to be prompt and the driver/engineer was to be available to show us how it would work. Felt very comfortable dealing with them. Would recommend them to everyone in need of mobility services. Conner was very patient and it was felt that he had our interests as a priority.

Great Company to deal with. Ordered a mobility scooter for my husband, only to be notified the following day that that particularly one that I had Ordered had sold 10 minutes previous to my order going through, they found me another identical make scooter at a dearer price but honoured it at the same price as the one I had ordered previously. Item fully serviced before it leaves them and got us within a week as my husbands health had deteriorated quite rapidly. Dana was a massive help and very supportive. Great service, great company, a reconditioned scooter that looks brand new at a fraction of the cost of a new one. I would highly recommend. Thanks again Dana.

When buying a brand new mobility scooter I was told it came with a free service. Which I didn't receive. Wasn't told my warranty was running soon. So when I had a problem with my scooter after many telephone calls and leaving messages I finally got to speak to someone I got my scooter fixed. But had to pay for service. And a mayor part that had broken. Which I didn't think break in the first year.

Bought my self a used scooter from Kardinal had a few niggly issues but that was soon sorted out then i came to a battery issue this company was good enough to send me new batterys so i must give them a 5 star rating im not the easiest person to talk to i have mcptsd Thanks to the staff

My 97 year-old mother can no longer use her mobility scooter and was keen to sell it secondhand. I quickly found out secondhand mobility scooters don't command a great price but Kardinal Independent Living made the best offer, including pick up (crucial). The courier company arrived on the day agreed and waited patiently for my mother's carer to be in a position to hand over the scooter. Meanwhile, Connor at Kardinal had already made the BACS transfer. Very impressive service!

I have just brought a mobility scooter and I have to say what a wonderful company Kardinal are very good service, the staff dealing with my order were lovely can feel very safe now when I go out so much more comfortable than my old one. Well done everyone.
