Choose Kabira, you’ll be glad you did! Please add my name to the overwhelming majority of beyond satisfied Kabira Safari clients!Sharon was amazing to work with in planning this trip. After booking the gorilla habituation trek I decided to see if I could extend my trip up to Murchison Falls. Sharon promptly looked into the matter and told me it would be a fair amount of extra driving. She even tried to find a flight and offered a shorter alternative to Queen Elizabeth Park with price quotes for all options. Having my heart set on Murchison Falls all the arrangements were put into place with a detailed day by day itinerary including what was included (practically everything) and what was not (laundry, gratuities, changes). All accommodations were excellent (Bweza Gorilla Lodge stood out in particular- reviewed separately). As good as all these things were it was my driver and guide, Adam, that was the best part. For 7 days I was treated to his wonderful company which included hundreds of interesting facts and stories of his native Uganda. Adam knew as much about the geography, geology and wildlife we encountered as anyone possibly could. He was an expert at spotting wildlife at a distance or partially hidden which meant I saw ten times as much as I would have on my own. He also knew many of the people (other guides and lodge staff) along the way. I feel like I have made a real friend and hope to see him again. I can’t think of one reason not to use Kabira Safari for any East African excursion one might be planning. THANK YOU KABIRA !!!!

Excelente agencia para Tours en Africa Excelente agencia para tours en Africa, todo salió como planeado, Sharon la agente que me planeo el itinerario fue clara y de mucha ayuda durante el proceso de reservación. Los lodges eran muy buenos sobre todo el de Biwindi (Bweza Gorila Lodge) que era magnífico con excelente atención, comida y muy buena ubicación. Pero lo mejor de todo, fue Jeff el guía y conductor del Jeep en el que hicimos el tour por 🇺🇬 Uganda, conocedor de su país y preocupado y atento por que la pasara bien, muchas gracias Jeff y Sharon ya que hicieron de mi Safari un viaje inolvidable.

Mind Blown Gorilla Trekking Experience The gorilla trekking tour was hands down one of the best experiences of my life! Adams (guide/driver) and whoever helped me with booking (I'm assuming Sharon?) were absolutely amazing and made the entire process seamless. As a solo, woman traveler, I was left in good hands and had absolutely no worries. I can't recommend this company enough. I plan to return in a few months and will only book Kabira for any additional tours. I'm also only requesting Adams as my guide again! ;)

C’est un commentaire qui est compliqué à rédiger et il nous aura fallu du temps pour le faire, nous avons longuement hésiter à le poster mais au final il nous semble important de faire part de notre expérience à de potentiels futurs voyageurs avec Kabira Safaris. Ils ont il est vrai de très bons commentaires en règle général mais il nous semble important également de donner des précisions quand la qualité n’est pas au rendez-vous. Nous avons eu la malchance d’hériter d’un véhicule qui s’est avéré être un véritable danger. Cette voiture n’était pas entretenue correctement et nous avons subi une casse moteur à cause de la rupture de la courroie de distribution du véhicule (T-Belt) qui a son tour a engagé une casse moteur. Cela ne devrait très clairement pas arriver avec un véhicule entretenu régulièrement et qui aurait du à minima recevoir une inspection avant notre départ. Ce véhicule connaitra encore des problèmes alors que nous serons en route pour l’aéroport avec une rupture de jante avant nous obligeant à être transporté en urgence pour ne pas rater notre vol dans des véhicules de fortune grâce à l’intervention positive de Brian notre guide. Ces situations ont évidemment engagé des retards (vous êtes au milieu de l’Afrique il n’existe pas de service de dépanneuse) mais grâce à notre guide Brian qui a été exceptionnel nous sommes parvenus à réaliser non sans mal notre programme. Il aura aussi fallu que j’intervienne directement auprès de Kabira Safaris pour faire bouger les choses car la direction de Kabira Safaris vous laisse tout simplement dans le silence le plus complet. Autant ils sont très réactifs quand il s’agit de faire le devis et réclamer vos acomptes autant c’est un silence assourdissant en cas de problèmes et aucune compensation ne vous est légitiment proposée. L’Ouganda est un pays magnifique, Brian un guide exceptionnel mais très clairement le service client de Kabira Safaris est pour ainsi dire inexistant. Nous passons sous silence d’autres sujets qui nous ont plus qu’agacés mais que nous sommes prêts à partager avec vous si besoin, mais la liste serait trop longue ici, ces deux seuls exemples devraient vous permettre de vous faire une opinion. La concurrence est rude entre les compagnies de Safari en Afrique mais nous attendons tous une qualité de service surtout en cas de problèmes et très clairement celle-ci n’est pas au rendez-vous avec cette compagnie.

This is a review that is complicated to write and it took us a while to do it, we hesitated for a long time to post it but in the end it seems important to us to share our experience with potential future travelers with Kabira Safaris. It is true that they generally have very good comments, but it also seems important to us to provide details when the quality is not up. We had the misfortune of inheriting a vehicle that turned out to be a real danger. This car was not maintained properly and we suffered an engine failure due to the breakage of the vehicle's timing belt (T-Belt) which in turn caused an engine failure. This clearly should not happen with a vehicle that is regularly maintained and which should at least have received an inspection before our departure. This vehicle will still experience problems while we are on the way to the airport with a broken front rim forcing us to be transported urgently so as not to miss our flight in makeshift vehicles thanks to the positive intervention of Brian our guide . These situations obviously caused delays (you are in the middle of Africa there is no tow truck service) but thanks to our guide Brian who was exceptional we managed to carry out our program with some difficulty. I also had to intervene directly with Kabira Safaris to make things happen because the management of Kabira Safaris simply leaves you in complete silence. As much as they are very responsive when it comes to making the quote and requesting your deposits, there is a deafening silence in the event of problems and no compensation is legitimately offered to you. Uganda is a beautiful country, Brian an exceptional guide but very clearly the customer service at Kabira Safaris is virtually non-existent. We are ignoring other subjects that have more than annoyed us but which we are ready to share with you if necessary, but the list would be too long here, these two examples alone should allow you to form an opinion. Competition is tough between Safari companies in Africa but we all expect quality of service especially in the event of problems and very clearly this is not up to par with this company.

Amazing week in Uganda Kabira was so easy to work with from start to finish. All the hotels we stayed at were absolutely amazing and the food was delicious. Our favorite was 4 Gorilla Lodge! Our guide, Arshley Brian, was super knowledgeable and made the whole experience unforgettable. Seriously could not have asked for a better trip!

We had an incredible experience using Kabira Safaris for our Uganda Safari Trip this month. Kabira exceeded our expectations and provided us with the best tour guide (Arshley Brian) who made our trip an unforgettable experience. We were very pleased with all hotel arrangements and recommendations that Kabira provided. They were also very responsive and flexible when making various changes to our itinerary leading up to the trip. Beyond our wildest dreams! Kabira safaris is amazing! Sharon was extremely helpful, kind, and welcoming from our initial contact to start planning and throughout our trip. We did an 11 day bespoke tour, all of which Sharon organized based in our interests. Both of our guides, Joe and Herman, were incredible. We had the most amazing special time in Tanzania and Uganda and we highly highly recommend traveling with Kabira! We also loved all of our accommodations and day tours Kabira arrange for us. All the lodges were beautiful with delicious food. We even had a delay in our flights and Kabira was able to accommodate the change. Also to note- we were traveling as a group of 3 women and felt safe and welcomed everywhere we went. We will send more pictures soon!

Gorilla Habituation and Chimpanzee Trekking Kabira provided an exceptional experience. They were responsive and helpful during the booking process, and they helped ensure that we had a seamless arrival in Entebbe. Best Chimpanzee and Gorilla Experience! We did the 5 day Chimpanzee and Gorilla trek. The trip was amazing! We had an incredible guide named Arshley Brian who made the trip so much fun. The accommodations at Turaco Treetop and Four Gorillas lodge were five star. The service was wonderful and the lodges were gorgeous. Trip of a lifetime!! I was recently on a trip to Uganda to be with some very special folks as David Matoma signed his professional baseball contract with the Pittsburgh Pirates. We decided that we should go on a 2 day Safari to Murchison Falls to finish off a big week for him and let me tell you it was more than I could have ever hoped for!! Our guides name was Nicholas and we could not have had a better one! He was very knowledgeable and knew where to go to give us the best opportunity to see all that Murchison Falls National Park had to offer. So many great photo opportunities and even time for relaxation as we took a boat ride up the Nile to the bottom of the Falls. Nicholas was just like having another friend onboard! Very fairly priced trip of a lifetime!! If you are planning a safari trip or a trip to Uganda don't hesitate to contact Kabira Safaris! Ask for Nicholas and you won't be disappointed!! ✌️✌️🤘🤘❤️❤️

Wonderful birding trip to southwest Uganda I recently went on a wonderful birding trip to the south west part of Uganda with Kabira Travel. I was met at Entebbe Airport by Herman, my guide and Sharon, the manager. Herman and I travelled from Entebbe to Mabamba swamp, Lake Mburu, Mgahinga, then three locations in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest before returning to Entebbe via Mpinga Forest. The birding was incredible with over 270 species seen including several of the Albertine Rift Endemics and many lifers. I was so privileged to have Herman as a guide. I was constantly amazed at his skill at identifying forest birds from their calls, and was in awe at his knowledge of all the birds at all the habitats we visited. Not only is he an excellent guide, he was also wonderful company for our 9 days on the road. The tour was expertly arranged by Sharon in head office who came to meet me in Entebbe and also very kindly came to Entebbe to see me off. I would strongly recommend Kabira Travel and in particular Herman for a birding or wildlife trip to Uganda.
