We’ve been bringing our pet here for many years because the staff truly cares about their guests and treats them with kindness and compassion. They are always flexible with schedules and made last minute accommodations for us when we were stuck in a snow storm. The Canine Outpost is our dog’s home away from home.

Poor service smells like dogs

We take pride in providing a respectful and welcoming environment for all customers. During your visit, you were asked to leave after speaking disrespectfully to both staff and other clients, including telling a senior customer to “shut up.” That behavior is not something we tolerate in our business.
For clarity, your interaction was related to a U-Haul rental, not our pet care services. As a facility that provides dog boarding and daycare, it is not unusual for there to be dogs on site. That said, we maintain strict cleaning and sanitation standards at all times.
We are committed to serving our community with professionalism and respect, and that includes ensuring a safe and courteous environment for everyone in our office.

Such a wonderful "puppy" place. We boarded our 3 dogs for one night. they came home happy and tired. Will definitely keep bringing them.

My weenie dog stayed 3 nights and 4 days while I was out of town and they did amazing! They kept me updated via pictures (anttached) and his little report card. Frankie can be a little spicy at times but they clearly handled him right because he came back happy and healthy!

We have an almost 2-year-old Corso and 9-Month old Rottweiler. Our dogs just went for a second time during Christmas. The reports we get when we pick up the dogs tells us that they pay great attention to them. Wonderful Customer Service. They really care about the dogs in their care.

My Malinois loves coming here and we have had great experiences here for 4 years now. When we arrive he can't wait to get back to the kennel area and he loves everyone there. It was an pawsome place to bring teddy and bubba while we were going through a transition period with our home being remodeled. Susan the owner was a awesome lady to work with. We were able to visit my bestfriends. Teddy and bubba had a pawsome time. Rain or shine we were there. I'm a hard person to get along with due to my disabilities for being upfront and Susan was someone that I will work with in the future

To clarify for anyone reading:
We maintain strict staff-to-dog ratios, enrichment-based programming, and safety protocols that exceed county requirements.
In the rare event a dog has an accident — because, like kids on a playground, sometimes they do — we respond immediately with veterinary care.
In the highly circulated incident being referenced online, we covered 100% of the veterinary bill, including sedation, stitches, pain medication, and antibiotics.
Google reviews are most valuable when they come from clients who have actually used our services and can provide specific, firsthand feedback. Without that context, there’s nothing here for us to address or improve on.
In the meantime, we’ll continue focusing on the pups who enthusiastically walk through our doors — tails wagging, parents returning again and again, and a whole lot of happy report cards to show for it. 🐾

My pet has stayed here and the staff was very attentive. I used there training services for leash training and she returned in way better control then when I left her. Fantastic staff and facility.
