I've come across a few complaints from the BBB. I agree that consumers were informed about a $5 fee for the service. However, when I clicked on the provided link, I did see that there was a $35 monthly fee for using the service. I'm not sure if others missed the terms and policy disclosure, but once I read it, I had the choice to accept or decline it. I agreed to the terms and was charged $35 because I needed an immediate response from a veterinarian. The veterinarian and I spoke about 10 to 15 minutes, and his response was very helpful. The veterinarian sent me a detailed message about what to do. At first, I tried calling the pet poison hotline, but they were going to charge me $85. So, I preferred paying $40 rather than spending more for an emergency vet visit, especially if it wasn't necessary.

fter the power went out, we hooked up a generator to the French door refrigerator and it was working except the lower icemaker and the light wouldn't come on when opening the right-side door. I reached out to JustAnser for help, after a few quick Q&A session the light problem was solved but the icemaker is still not working. GregT0409 suggested to contact a technician to have it looked at, there will be one here Thursday.

My little 14 year old ****** mix woke me up screaming, her head arched over her back and stiff. I picked her up and she went limp. She peed on the bed and on me. I couldn't feel her breathing and, sobbing, I begged her not to leave me. I pulled myself together and started massaging her ribcage, trying to see if she had a heartbeat or if she would breath. She took a heavy breath and again and again. I could feel life in her muscles, again. She opened her eyes. She was alive. I didn't know what to do next and we live an hour or more away from the nearest emergency vet. I googled for answers to her symptoms and came across JustAnswer. The vet who texted with me, my choice over a phone call, was extremely helpful. She explained what the two possibilities were, seizure or syncope (loss of consciousness often attributes to heart problems) We talked about her earlier diagnosis of an enlarged heart, what her options were for medications. She reassured me out wasn't necessary to right her of to an emergency clinic and I could contact my vet in the morning. It was a huge relief.
