Dr. Ciaccio was referred to us but she been anything but exceptional. Not personable at all. Gives no explanations or care for your child. We’ve seen her 3 times about a weight issue and problems with our newborn and her recommendations were awful, we needed something to actually help my son and we got that at stones crossing, the pediatrician actually listened to us and showed the real concern that was needed. Would not recommend JMH here AT ALL.
The staff is good at their job and do very well, unfortunately they don't always want to. Several times we sent in our child because of suspicious cough and were brushed off as "it's normal for toddlers to get sick." Or "it's just a cough give them benadryl." Then it turns out, no, it was something much more serious that required antibiotics or more. This last time was the straw when once again they dismissed my child's cough as normal when it turned out they had covid. It could have been so much worse if we had not gotten a second opinion, shame on them. Will never use them again.
I couldn’t imagine what it is like to have a dr office that actually helps. I was told they wouldn't see anyone with any respiratory symptoms, I acknowledged that was fine, I was just looking for a virtual visit and was told he wouldn't do that either because it "required a follow up". What does that matter? I'm the one paying the bill and the receptionist is little to no help at all basically saying no one here wants to do our job.
Just moved back to Indianapolis, after living near Kokomo for the past 16 years. I was a little worried about finding my son a new doctor, as we had a great relationship with our last one. He started seeing Dr Sean Beeson. We've had a couple appointments with him now. He seems to really listen to any concerns we have, and knows what he's talking about. I'm happy with the service we've received & my son is too, which is all that matters.
I had an appointment with her two days before. I have thyroid problem. I wanted to see her about the pressure I am feeling on my head and the thyroid thing. I feel my thyroid level got high . I have to take deep breaths to maintain normal level. This happens to me every time when my thyroid level got high. She thought of it a COVID . I don’t have any symptoms and nothing at all. She got panicked and rushed out from room. Get Back with the saying that I need to get my Covid test right now. I did take test and got negative. Called to see Dr Sarah today . But receptionist says she did not see me with this symptom . So I want to know how a doctor can treat patients without seeing them.I AM COVID NAGATIVE and I also know there is pendemic........
I’ve been seeing Dr. Sara Beeson now for a few years. She’s a great Dr and I love her. My daughter has been seeing her for a while now too. She had an appt with her this morning because she has water trapped in her ear. After she was checked in and taken back, she mentioned a bit of a sore throat. The nurse immediately got big eyes and left the room, leaving my daughter to feel like she had done something wrong. She came back into the room to let my daughter know they wouldn’t be seeing her today because of the throat symptom. I don’t understand how you can be a nurse and not know that your throat is going to be a little sore when your ear is full of water. She has no other symptoms of any kind. I just don’t get it.
"Dr." Sean Beeson. He doen't listen. He doesn't care about my health. Misdiagnosed me when I was sick in February. Rushed through my exam. Refuses to discuss what I need to tell him. You are a " doctor" but you don't listen to the real problems I am having. When I have to be admitted into the hospital because he refuses to help he can pay the bill. He is causing more anxiety to me. Patient abuse. Doctors are supposed to help not cause more harm. I would call you a human but humans have compassion and that is something you are missing. I've contacted the hospital with no response either.
Second and last visit. I was referred to her after a stay at JMH. 1st appointment she was nice and seemed concerned and competent. Follow up appointment was complete opposite. It started with the front desk lady extremely angry because she was out of pens. After they finally got me checked i i waited 40 minutes after my appointment time for the doctor to come in. When she finally came in, she was angry that i was a healthcare worker who takes care of COVID patients, but was there. (With my mask on, gone through all the screening, etc). Then she interrogated me about all the doctors I see, when I have just been trying to keep all the appointments I have been given, in order to try to get feeling better. She became angry about that. Then when i went to check out, i was standing on the line instead of behind the line on the floor and the check out lady became very rude and told me I needed to stand BEHIND the line. I am a fairly understanding, easy going person, that always tries to give people, especially doctors, the benefit of the doubt, but I’m not sure who pumped a dose of rude into the office, but it isn’t for me. The doctor had ordered some labs, but i left without getting them drawn I don’t need that level of stress and being made to feel like i did something wrong simply for trying to do what i am being told to do.
