After recently purchasing our first home, and discovering the roof needed repair, we tried a number of roofers but nothing solved our problem until Jim and his team came along. I cannot thank them enough: professional, top quality, competitively priced, family run…I’ve even recommended them to my neighbours who also had a v positive experience hiring them.

Two new roofs - pitched and flat JMH Roofing did a brilliant job reslating the rear of our house. The new slates look so good. We also had to have a new velux window which looks much better than the old one. We were kept informed at every stage of the job and once they were finished all rubbish was removed from the site. They then returned to tackle the flat roof which needed refelting and new facia and guttering. Again, they worked efficiently and we have a much better roof than before. Jim and his boys were polite at all times and I felt comfortable having them in my garden. I would recommend them for any roofing projects.

Front verge of roof repaired and rebedded after storm damage I'm really happy the work could be done quickly and efficiently. I was shown some photographs afterwards so I could see how the repairs had been performed, which I appreciated.

Fitted new dry ridge system, eave trays and breathable felt along the bottom 1 metre of the rear roof of our detached 2 storey house. The roof tiles were out of production and difficult to remove. This was resolved pretty quickly by JMH Roofing and the job (repairing holes in the underfelt and fitting a new dry ridge system)) completed in 1/2 a day. I was impressed with the confident approach taken to resolve our roofing problems and the cost was in line with 2 other quotes received. So far so good and no leaks have returned.

Complicated reroof of a Tudor (500 year old) listed property. We are delighted with our new roof - and have had so many neighbours and passers-by also commending the way 'we' have done it. Our house is in the centre of town and many people know it. We knew that if we picked the wrong roofers it would reflect badly on us - in addition to the usual stress of choosing a supplier for an expensive, 'once in a lifetime' job. JMH were a great team; very professional, excellent value for money, polite, punctual and great to have around. They take great pride in their work and don't cut corners. All in all a lovely local family business. Highly recommended!
