Been with this company before, very polite and easy to communicate with, Derek who measured the room, give quotes and shown serval carpet samples was a quick and easy appointment and would definatley recommend, also unlike other pay weekly companys, the deposit and fitting fee comes of the carpet costs which is really good
Firat class, unbelievable patient and helpful no matter how many dumb questions I asked. I got lucky Ordered Thursday picked up on friday š„³š„³š„³š„³ and it looks amazing

I canāt recommend Derek and his team enough! Stacey in the offie was absolutely amazing at coordinating a last-minute installation for my friend in Accrington, and Derek went above and beyond throughout the process to ensure everything was sorted as such short notice, he was so accommodating. What a fantastic gentleman, super kind, incredibly reliable, and so trustworthy from start to finish. The quality of the carpet is amazing. I would highly recommend them, what a great company! Really bad workman ship as my new carpet has bumps in it, underlay lay over the carpet grips plus no new carpet grips was installed and all off cuts just left in kitchen with bit of carpet scattered around. I personally wouldnāt recommend.

Hi Brent Iāve spoken with the office and the fitter regarding this fitting and you was having a fireplace fit the day after the carpet. So the carpet fitter decided it would be better if you had the fire fit and he came back the day after. You were very rude saying you wanted him to go back to fit the carpet and we should go back the day after to cut around the fireplace. Sorry we donāt work like this. We are a very busy carpet company fitting thousands of homes & happy customers. The off cuts we leave for the customers. They like to be se these for mats etc. we donāt and canāt dispose of waste. We also donāt install carpet grippers if the floor already has these down.
Not impressed,arranged for Derek to come out on Friday to measure up a couple of rooms after using them in the past I was told once my account had been paid off my limit would rise(not the case) Derek came in rush which was quite stressful he kindly informed me that he mistaken me for a ālittle boyā which was quite strange in front of my two guests he then reminded me again then he laughed and said I could only get one room done,the room is tiny and he quoted me just under Ā£700 for vinyl which is ridiculous then told me I couldnāt even have that unless I got someone to screed the floor as it was ātoo unevenā and wanted me to wait over 4 weeks after paying the deposit for it š«£ very pushy and I just wanted him gone so even paid the Ā£40 deposit to get him out he seem stressed and I didn't want tot cause a verbal altercation I wonāt be proceeding with the flooring Iād rather loose the Ā£40 and never have to deal with them again very poor and limited choice of vinyls anyway after this shocking experience I got a quote of all my house in laminate and carpet stairs for Ā£1500 absolute bargain considering I was quoted just under Ā£700 one tiny room of vinyl will never use them again.oh and Ā£1000 for one room laminate the room is barely 3m wide and not much length either

Hello Amy thank you for your review the vinyl flooring we have in stock is the best. As you know we donāt offer laminate flooring on our pay weekly option but the vinyl flooring we stock lasts for years when looked after and thatās is why the price is higher.If youāre floor is uneven we do advise this is levelled out before installation. Sorry we couldnāt help you this time.
Iām extremely disappointed with my experience. The carpet was installed with obvious creases, and despite this being an installation issue, getting the company to come back and fix it has been incredibly difficult. Iāve reached out multiple times, but communication and follow-through have been very poor.
I even told them that I would stop payment until the issue was resolved, and they responded by saying they wouldnāt send anyone out if I did. The frustrating part is that I have continued paying, yet they still havenāt sent anyone to fix the problem.
This has been a very stressful and unprofessional experience, and based on how the situation has been handled, I unfortunately cannot recommend this company.
Today was our first experience of JBM Carpets and honestly I am absolutely thrilled with them and the whole experience. Dean was our carpet fitter and honestly I canāt praise him enough. He sorted an issue at the front door to stop water coming in and ruining my new carpets and laid the carpets absolutely PERFECT! The whole experience has been so easy right from initial quote to even calling the office to ask a question. Everyone is so helpful, professional and kind. I canāt wait to rebook to have my spare bedroom completed! Thank you JBM for a wonderful customer experience.
Derek my local rep is brilliant ever so friendly and gets the job done no messing. All the staff here are extremely friendly and professional. And issues get sorted instantly. Quality and prices are very good too. Im on my second carpet from these guys now and will continue to use them to do the whole house.
Just done my second order with these guys and the service is brilliant, canāt recommend them enough, they are very friendly especially Derek and Karen, canāt help you enough and the carpets are beautiful, thank you so much.

I have had this company many times in the past mainly positive however my most recent fitting the fitter broke my sonās bedroom door and nothing had been done to rectify the situation. I had spent a lot of money, time and effort getting my sonās room done before his birthday the day after the fitting when the big suprise was. Iām still to yet be given a solution to the problem and damage they have done and have had zero contact since I told the lady who phoned me it simply isnāt acceptable to damage someoneās property and try to blame myself for having the thicker more expensive carpet fitted. I should add I also have this exact one in my daughterās room and they never damaged the door and both doors close completly with no effort. The fitter took 20 mins max to fit the carpet and used my own old underlay. So I still have to pay for a carpet that now looks shabby due to my broken door. Very very poor communication and standards. Will not be using again and I have given them well over Ā£1500 in custom.

Hi there is nothing we can actually do with this door. The carpet you picked was thicker than the one that was down so unfortunately when the fitter closed the door the cardboard off the door came off because there wasnāt a plinth keeping the door sturdy. It really is a council issue and as we suggested give them a call to explain the situation Iām sure they will bring a new one. Your underlay wasnāt removed when the fitter arrived and to be honest it was in good condition so we have deducted the price of the underlay off your order. Thank you so much for your custom but we are really sorry we couldnāt help any further with the door issue.
Derek is amazing at JBM, Iāve used this company twice before and theyāve never failed to provide a fantastic service, such an easy convenient service. Dean who fitted them was spot on, nothing was too much trouble for him.

Absolutely brilliant customer service from the start. Used this company for years and had several products and fittings from them. Karen in the office was lovely and prompt at getting back to me. Derek, as always, was efficient and clear about what happens next etc. lovely chap who is a credit to JBM. The fitter I have had in the past, Dean I believe, was very professional and got the job done in no time!! Would highly recommend JBM, not just for the products and service but the amazing staff!!

Sales manager Called me to book an appointment but then refused to come out and told me he was ātoo busyā when I said the floor was slightly uneven and suggested that I pay for it Levelling and hard wood Without even seeing the condition of the floor
Multiple companies advised a thick vinyl would be perfect
He began to slate other companies I had had out to quote which didnāt give me much confidence on there professionalism
Go the impression they wanted me to purchase the most expensive option without them even coming to view the floor
Something didnāt seem right with there sales approach so I have used another company
I advised the office of my experience, hoping to resolve the issue and get someone to come quote, but they was of no help and dismissed my request so I have decided to leave this review
Edit - if you leave a review they donāt like some will call you after about leaving a review, Really weird behaviour and company made me feel unvalued as a potential customer, uncomfortable and slightly harassed.
I have had the floor done by another company with vinyl and the floor looks great
It didnāt need levelling just nice vinyl

Hi Yvette when Derek called to arrange a quote you did say another pay weekly company had been and you wanted laminate flooring but they couldnāt do it due to your floor being uneven so Derek said if they canāt cover it with laminate it definitely wonāt cover with vinyl flooring. Itās not a job we would of taken on as it will cause endless problems in future for us so to be left 1 star we think is unfair. We could have come out and taken your money and done a shoddy job but that is not what JBM Carpets is about. Iām glad you found someone to do it and I hope it lasts. Derek has some great reviews and the last conversation was weeks ago which he asked you to send a picture so he could ask a colleague to screed it for you so this review has come out of the blue and we wasnāt aware how unhappy you was so we did give you a call to see if we could do something to change the outcome but you was very rude and put the phone down.
We have used jbm 3 times now to get our whole house carpeted, we are extremely happy with the overall service and the quality is excellent. Derek the service manage is absolutely brilliant, polite and helpful, he has never let us down which is why we are going back for the 4th time. We would highly recommend jbm any day of the week
