Bellissimo tour a Yogyakarta e ai templi di Borobudur e Prambanan. Wonderful tour of Yogyakarta and the Borobudur and Prambanan temples. Sholi, our transfer, was extremely kind and efficient throughout our stay, explaining the customs and traditions of the locals. During breaks from our initial program, he suggested and brought us to visit other beautiful places we wouldn't have seen otherwise. Highly recommended!

It was perfect from beginning to end. Sholi picked up us from Airport on time and delivered us back. He was so nice and accommodating. He was professional yet personable. We really wanted to experience Yogyakarta the way the locals do and he provided us with that experience. Every shop, store and restaurant he took us to was part of the City we were looking. A MUST-SEE Cultural and Historical Trip to Yogyakarta
We heard a lot about Yogyakarta “Jogja” before we made the trip but once you see it, you realize why it is so special and listed as a UNESCO world heritage site. Jogja contains the two of the largest Hindu and the Buddhist temples in the world, in what is the largest Muslim county in the world. If you’ve seen temples like Angkor Wat (Cambodia) or those in Bagan (Myanmar), you’ll equally be blown away with how amazing and beautiful the temples are in Java.
We love Indonesia… the people, the culture, this history, the landscape, the food… it is one of the most amazingly diverse and beautiful countries in Asia. When we were in Surabaya in August, we ran in Sholi who runs Java Temple Trip tours. He told us about his tours in Jogja and gave us his card. We’ve always wanted to go to Jogja so as we planned our trip in Nov 2022, we reached out to Sholi over WhatsApp and planned our trip with him. He helped us organize and execute this amazing trip to Yogyakarta which ultimately reinforced to us why we love Indonesia and the people so much.
Sholi is a very warm, interesting, and knowledgeable guide. In the 2 short days that we spent with him, we got to know him very well and would definitely work with him again when we travel to the Java region. He’s a very good driver plus the vehicle was clean and comfortable. He accommodated our desire to have local food and took us to some nice Indonesian restaurants where we were able to order foods like rendang, soto ayam, and gado gado. He took us to all of our desired locations including:
* Kraton Yogyakarta Museum
* Tamansari Yogyakarta (baths)
* A visit to a Wayang puppet maker
* Walk between the Banyan Trees
* Sono-Budoyo Museum
* Borobudur Temple
* Medut Buddhist Monastery
* Prambanan Temple
* Sewu Temple
Overall, Sholi - Java Temple Trip - took very good care of us and introduced to one of the most amazing and must-see cultural and historical sites in the world. When you go visit, look up Sholi. You will leave Jogja with a huge smile on your face, wishing you could stay longer. Thanks Sholi!
