Extremely rude staff. The man standing at the restaurant reception was completely impolite and didn’t even say hello. It was exactly 5 p.m., the restaurant’s opening time, yet he wouldn’t even allow me to take a look inside. I’ve stayed at the hotel a couple of times and have eaten at the restaurant before, so I was surprised by how discourteous that employee was. I would suggest management revisit this behavior.
This was my last stop before calling it a day. With jazz music playing in the background, the setting sun and gentle breeze made the atmosphere especially enjoyable.
The cucumber and fried pita bread dip was decent, though a bit tricky to eat—serving it in a lower, flat dish with a small fork would’ve made it easier.
The cocktails were great, and the sesame ice cream really hit the spot! Personally, I would’ve preferred it without the chocolate syrup, but it was still delicious.
A lovely way to end the day.
Jaffa Cocktail and Raw Bar is a hidden gem that delivers a vibrant mix of Mediterranean flavors and fresh seafood in a chic, laid-back setting. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm atmosphere and a menu that promises both creativity and quality.
The highlight of the experience is the raw bar—offering impeccably fresh oysters, tuna tartare, and crudo that taste like they were just pulled from the sea. Each dish is beautifully presented and balanced in flavor. One standout was the octopus with harissa aioli—tender, smoky, and with just the right kick.
Cocktail lovers will not be disappointed. Their drinks menu is inventive and refreshing. I tried the Jaffa Spritz, which paired perfectly with the seafood, and the house gin cocktail, which was aromatic and smooth.
Service is attentive but relaxed, making it a perfect spot for either a casual dinner or a special night out. Whether you’re a fan of raw seafood or just looking to explore bold, fresh Mediterranean-inspired dishes, Jaffa delivers on both taste and atmosphere.
We always enjoy stopping by Jaffa for a drink before a late dinner. Live music from 7-10pm is a vibe, and it’s a great spot to bring parents or friends from out of town. Drink highlights would be the the Espresso Mar-tehina and Oaxaca on broken glass.
Thanks Jaffa team, and Joe Vanable and his band who was playing that night!
