Honestly, I was pretty surprised by the pricing. I saw they had open time after their cosmic skate from 8 PM to 1 AM, so I called to ask about just coming in as a single skater. I explained I’m just looking for quiet ice time to practice without a crowd.
They told me it would be $310 for an hour, which feels like it’s priced as if I’m booking a private event or a full group party.
It just doesn’t really make sense for someone who’s simply trying to practice and improve. I’m an adult, I’m 35, and I’m not looking for anything complicated—just reasonable ice time.
Thanks anyway, but that pricing just isn’t realistic for me.
I mean, after all something’s better than nothing

Dennis, this is an incredibly unfair review. Your ask was to use the entire ice rink for yourself, which requires us to cut the ice with a Zamboni before and after your private use, and on this occasion, we would have had to staff and keep the entire facility open for an extra hour. Please call any rink in the area to better understand the standard charge for a full sheet of private ice.
And to clarify further, we offer plenty of $14 public skates for you to practice at an extremely reasonable price. Most of our daytime public skates are very quiet. We invite you to join us for one of these options.
