When we wanted to build a side extension to our home, we searched for an architect who could help with design and planning processes. Fortunately, we were recommended a very good architect, Kevin who quoted us a very reasonable price. Additionally, we were happy to learn that the process could be completed online which was perfect for us as we didn't have much available time to meet and discuss our needs with the architect onsite. Instead, we had an initial phone consultation and provided site / address details so existing drawings could be sourced. We then provided a rudimentary sketch with dimensions of what we required. Kevin was then able to provide draft drawings along with a video explaining all drawing details. Everything was very straightforward, and we were well informed so when small amendments were suggested, drawings were promptly changed and forwarded within a couple of days. The flexibility and asynchronous nature of the online approach was very efficient with plenty of time to discuss drawings while eliminating the stress of arranging onsite meetings. We were delighted with the whole process and very grateful to Kevin for making our application so hassle free.

I sent through a rough sketch with basic measurements, the guys were then able to find floor plans and site-layouts online, and within two weeks, planning permission for attic conversion and ground floor rear extension was lodged.
