Hospice for Utah took care of my mother through November 2020 to May 2021. They got to know her really well! They cared for her personal and her health needs. She was diagnosed with breast cancer, because of her age 94, she opted to not have surgery.
From January to May someone was there daily. They were gentle & caring for her & grew to love her. When she became bedridden & was close to passing, they let me know what to expect as time passed. They cared for me too. Showing love & concern!
I Highly recommend Hospice For Utah for your loved ones needs!!

You never think in a million years that you will be needing Hospice Services for a loved one. When its time it's never a good time. Misty and Tanya dove in these rough waters head first. They helped us navigate difficult questions with professionalism, concern, and love! They were thourough and never made me feel dumb for breaking down and crying in front of them on multiple occasions. I've had to text and call them and at odd hours and they always responded. They do everything you need them to do but more importantly they go above and beyond. I remember Misty sitting with my mother and combing her hair and rubbing lotion so that "She could feel pretty." I mean c'mon that is just amazing! Tanya and the rest of the staff are just as amazing. Sometimes nothing medically can be done. Sometimes its hand holding, a nice conversation, or navigating a difficult time. Hospice 4 Utah does all of this with love and kindness. They are now our friends for life. We love you guys! Thank you!

Hospice of Utah services for my mother were truly a blessing! We so much appreciated Tanya and Jessica and their sensitivity to our feelings and how they kept us informed of Mom's status. It is never easy to lose a parent and to know how to say "good-bye," but they were able to let us know what was going on and what to expect during those difficult moments when we could see that Mom was going to leave us. Thank you, Tanya and Jessica!
Hospice for Utah was such an amazing support for my dad and our family during his illness and passing. They took amazing care of my dad! Somehow they were always able to manage the balance of care and allowing him to keep his dignity, not an easy balance to strike, but they did. Lisa and Kimberly were amazing with the nursing care they provided. Gaylen, the chaplain that visited with my dad was amazing. It was so comforting to know as we were nearing the end that he was comfortable and that his pain was well managed. Thank you for your care and compassion during such a significant time!
Our first experience with Hospice For Utah was in 2010 or 2011? My amazing, energetic father in law was diagnosed with prostate cancer. He was a 93 year old WWII vet who could run circles around us all. With his Dr's cousel we decided to forego treatment. When it became clear that we could not give him the care he deserved we scoured the internet and reached out to others who's experienced similar trials with aging parents. I'm am so happy we reached out to Hospice for Utah!! They met with us at my father in law's home and put all our minds at ease, including his! They were a Godsend!! When the time came for him to move to a care center they were there to visit every day during his 2 month stay. They worked with nursing staff to make sure his needs were being met. He looked so forward to their visits!! They grieved with us when this amazing man passed. I cannot imagine how much more difficult that time would've been without the angels from Hospice for Utah!

We used Hospice for Utah in 2017 for my Mom who was battling Mesothelioma. The nurses and company were wonderful! As Momma got worse the more they were here taking care of her and explaining everything we needed to know to give her medications and anything we needed they were there.
Eva was our main nurse and she became family. If we ever need hospice care again we will definitely use Hospice For Utah.
My father had been in declining health for a couple of years when his desire of staying in his own home became too hard for us as his children to manage. We found hospice of Utah at a time when he was receiving home health care from the same company. We weren’t sure if he would qualify for hospice. We always thought hospice was only available for those who had only a few months to live. We were surprised and relieved to know that hospice was to help those like my dad who were approaching 90 and wanting to stay in their homes and who had poor health. My dad was on hospice for 18 months. Someone was always just a phone call away. If he was not feeling well or had a fall his nurse or another one on call would come to his home to evaluate him. It was such a relief not to have to worry about getting him in a car and taking him to the dr or the ER. The same team of a nurse, aide, social worker and chaplain were assigned to him. He kept this same group from start to finish which was so helpful. They became like family. They really knew him; his likes, habits and they were able to tell when his condition was changing even slightly. When the end was close they all came to visit and say their goodbyes. The hospice team was there as much for us as a family as for my dad. I can’t thank them enough for allowing my dad to die the way he wanted, surrounded by his family in his own home. I wish more people would take advantage of hospice for their loved ones. It was the best decision we made.

Hospice for Utah did an incredible job taking care of my dad. It was such a relief to have their staff checking on in him and meeting his needs at the end of his life. The doctor, nurses, and aides were all so sensitive to our needs and circumstances during such an emotional time. I would recommend Hospice for Utah without reservation!
Seeing my mother decline was so difficult for me. Hospice for Utah was as important for me as it was for mom. They were always there when scheduled, compassionately taking care of her. I was grateful they took over all her needs, ordered a hospital bed, hygiene needs, and above all helped me mentally through the end of life. The last week of her life they were with her day or night when she needed extra care for pain management.
Hospice for Utah made our experience positive. I highly recommend them, and grateful we chose this company.
The nurses at Hospice for Utah went above and beyond for my parents. They took on duties that were not even required, but did them because they truly cared for my parents well-being. Even after my Dad moved to a care center and was no longer one of their patients, they checked in with me periodically to ask about both of my parents...and their dog! I highly recommend Hospice for Utah.
