Holme Sawmill was recommended to me by a builder I know. I am just a DIY person who was putting up two large wooden beams between kitchen and dining room. I found them to be very honest and helpful, the beams are non weight bearing and it was suggested to me that I used a cheaper wood than I thought I would have to use, which would match into some oak beams already in place. I was shown the wood before cutting and was helped (explained) in how they cut be cut form my project which was different to what I thought I could have!! thank you. in my naivety they could have sold me more expensive wood I didn't need. What I ended up with is 2 great beams that look fabulous at a price I could afford. Have already recommended to friends and would definitely use again.
