The atmosphere? Superb.
Josh was so welcoming and kind as he greeted us and took us to our table where my mom and I celebrated her best birthday dinner to date. Jose “Chepe” Flores was the most knowledgeable server to ever serve me. He is certainly an asset to any company and I hope that he continues at HT for as long as I am on this Earth. Thank you to every single staff member for making this special birthday a memory my family and I will never forget.
Went for sons birthday, historic inn patronized by founding father GEORGE WASHINGTON in a beautiful area that you would love to take a walk in afterwards to go see the little lake and victorian era buildings. lovely veal cutlet with fresh tomatoes. Servers were prodominantly of the latino race despite white atmosphere and town so did not feel racism
Dinner for 5 celebrating a Birthday. Filet Mignon and Lamb Chops were excellent. Appetizers were all good. Service normal as expected for a Holiday season Cappuccino was excellent. Carrot cake needs improvement (bland flavor) but if that’s all I can say on negative side, it’s a great restaurant!
What a great spot. The decor and ambiance of the establishment are beautiful. We had family dinner, sat in a big cozy booth. Service was good.
The food was excellent. We all had something different and everyone was very happy with their meals!
I would definitely come back. Great for family dinners, night out with friends or even a fancy date night.
They have valet parking as well.
We love Hendrick’s Tavern, but last night was particularly crowded. We waited 20 minutes in a packed entrance way for our table. Once we were seated, all was forgiven, as the wait staff is fantastic! We ordered the oysters which were delicious and then to the filet mignon, sweet potato fries and burnt broccoli. Outstanding and worth the wait. Carol.
This was my first time here. We had a great dinner at Hendricks. The 30 ounce tomahawk ribeye was cooked to perfection and so delicious. The sides were plentiful the staff, and the service overall was just A+ and I could see why people always go back to this place. My only gripe and it’s a small gripe is we did order a large seafood tower and for $120 I would expect more than 4 shrimp. Will definitely be back though, because the food was outstanding.
The food was absolutely amazing! The octopus and the Ahi tuna were cooked to perfection. We had the scallops special and that was also out of this world! The desserts- simply the most delicious thing I’ve ever tasted! Had the apple crumb and the chocolate cloud cake! Our waiter was very friendly and attentive!
Although the place was absolutely packed, we didn’t have to wait too long for our table. There was a short wait for our waiter to take our order, but considering the crowd it was understandable we both ordered the prefix Thanksgiving dinner. They butternut squash soup was excellent and so was the peach salad. The entrée contained plenty of turkey, stopping cranberry sauce, carrots, and brussels sprouts. The dessert was an apple crisp with vanilla ice cream .My only negative comment would be that the place is too dark, several people commented on the fact that it was difficult to read the menu.
