The new forest is a magical place from local villages to the animals hoofed and winged. At the heart of it was my stay on the Heathfield Estate in Magnolia Cottage. A cozy 2 bedroomed affaire, with ensuite bathrooms and a great lounge/dining area. The estate manager was on hand to assist which was reassuring, Mark was friendly and accommodating. Like all of England the weather was indecisive, yet the back garden was a suntrap on the gorgeous days. The front garden was great to watch the sunset through the trees, as was the hot tub - where I spent many an evening listening to birds wind down with the colours of the sky. Magnolia Cottage, made my 45th birthday truly amazing. The rest of my family joined during the 10 day stay, having a great time all round. Being 2hrs from London they want to come back and stay for longer. The amenities and local attractions were a quick drive away; from the fish and chips on the beach, and the deer sanctuary, to the awesome Sammy Miller's motorcycle museum. I will definitely come back to stay on the Estate, to explore the New Forest again, I barely scratched the surface (especially all the fudge, eateries and walks to experience).

Had a lovely stay at the Heathfield Coach house. The grounds are beautiful and the house is incredibly charming and cozy with everything you might need during your stay. It’s a great area to explore and we enjoyed the delicious restaurants close by.

This place is so beautiful and relaxing. Loved going for walks in the New Forest and seeing all the animals roam free. Place is centrally located with many good restaurants within driving distance. We stayed in the coach house which was warm and cozy with all the amenities you need to make it feel like home. We were able to hit the coast and do touristy things like Salisbury and Winchester cathedral and Christmas markets all in one day easily. We even had a local cat, Pickles, come by and say hi!

Arrived to find the property spotlessly clean and all in working order. It was the perfect place to host our 40th wedding anniversary with plenty of garden space and adequate crockery and utensils for a socially distanced party. The setting about 6 miles out of Christchurch was beautiful situated in the New Forest National park with lots to do and amenities close to hand. Although the weather was poor for us the house more than made up for the rest of the week.

We celebrated my father's 80th birthday at Heathfield House. It was the perfect setting. The house was beautiful and fully lived up to the expectations of someone who has been told he is "rather fussy". Great house with great attention to detail and a wonderful location. We have just returned from a wonderful weekend at this stunning location and property. There’s lots to do we had a fun treasure hunt in an around the area ( our team came last!) followed by a deliciously catered 4 course meal in the large and welcoming dining room. This is a luxurious large house which is perfectly placed to explore the New Forest or the nearby beaches. A special place for a birthday, Christmas or corporate conference...or to unwind and relax. The beds are super comfy and all the bathrooms are very well equipped. Definitely a 6 star in my book! Recommended 😍

Heathfield House provides a delightful setting for a fabulous break. The House has been restored to a luxurious standard throughout with spacious reception rooms and a dozen bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms which is ideal for a large group of friends or family. It is set in its own substantial grounds and is very close to the New forest and beaches. We recently stayed there for a murder and mystery weekend which was organised by Amber, the manager who brought in actors and caterers freeing the hosts to enjoy a memorable evening. We had such an amazing time and can't wait to go again.

We enjoyed a wonderful weekend with a group of friends in the fabulous Healthfield House during the summer. It is a perfect retreat from daily life for friends and family to relax and have fun together in luxurious surroundings in the New Forest. Healthfield House offers everything, and more, for a fun-filled get away – easy access from London and the south east, beautiful park like gardens, spacious entertainment areas for spending time together as a group and for finding a quiet corner to read a book or have a snooze, beautifully decorated, luxurious ensuite bedrooms and a huge, extremely well equipped kitchen where preparing meals becomes a social hub for everyone. The attention to detail is astonishing. The team have thought of everything to make Healthfield a home from home for their guests. The area is perfect for exploring the New Forest, and close enough to the coast for fun beach days.

We stayed at this fabulous house last summer and were so blown away with the place that we booked to return this summer. This time we arrived with our own memories of the individuality of all the beautifully decorated bedrooms and bathrooms,the luxurious bedding and towels,the impressive staircase, the amazing selection of paintings throughout the house and the fabulous patio and seating area overlooking the extensive lawns. We were not disappointed, it was just as we remembered, pure luxury and yet so homely in the middle of the New Forest and a short distance to the sea. Once again we would like to thank the owners and the Estate Manager for being so helpful with all our arrangements and providing us with such excellent caterers. We will most certainly be back again soon.
