The family retreat was great! Very spacious for our family of 10. The kitchen had what we needed to make all our meals and even bake Christmas cookies. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. You can hear the train horn but with the sound machines provided it wasn’t a big deal. Our kids loved the toy closet and the big dining table was perfect for all our family games! The weather wasn’t great during our stay but the last day it cleared off a bit and the view is amazing.

Stayed here for a week to celebrate my husband’s birthday and we were totally blown away by the uniqueness of this tower. The location is beautiful and the atmosphere is cozy.We felt so at home and comfortable the entire trip. This home had everything we needed for a nice getaway!

Our family had such a wonderful stay at Magpie Manor! A weekend full of memory making, from enjoying cooking in the kitchen, lounging in the living room with cozy blankets, enjoying the hot tub, kids loving the bunk beds. Really lovely home. Would definitely stay again.

As an avid fire lookout seeker, this is the perfect combo of an off grid feel with modern amenities and a homie feel. As much fun as driving deep into the woods can be, sometimes you want to have what you need close and a nice hot tub and warm shower after a day full of adventuring - this is THAT spot!!! Great location and beautiful views. Sam and Max were very accommodating and were understanding when we had a little mishap with our pup on property. Never had a chance to speak in person but seem like awesome people! The driveway is a little spicy but they have provided everything you need and an informational video to help you feel comfortable with handling it. If this is open for the dates you're looking at BOOK IT!

I truly don’t understand how people will pay the going rate of a hotel room instead of renting a beauty like this! The experience of staying here was well worth the money. It had everything we wanted. Views, hot tub, fireplace, privacy. Done deal. 10/10 everything was perfect. Clean, thoughtfully curated, unique, and they truly made it so easy to sit, relax, and enjoy every minute there. Thankyou so being so accommodating and welcoming!

Magpie Manor was so perfect! The host was very responsive, check-in was easy, the house was very clean, and the themes and decorations in each room were so charming! We had a great time at 7th street cottage. It was a simple and clean home in a cute neighborhood. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for meals at home. We walked to downtown every morning and loved how easy it was, felt safe walking on the quiet streets with 3 kiddos. Joshua was so kind and responsive. We look forward to visiting again!

The Lookout Tower in Sandpoint, ID is an amazing place to stay. The space is perfect for a couple and the views are incredible. The downstairs bedroom was very comfortable and it was nice having a washer/dryer combo unit. The bathroom was nicely appointed and we appreciated the dual shower heads. Our favorite thing to do was enjoying the hot tub both in the mornings and evenings. There was nothing we found ourselves wanting that was not provided. We will definitely stay here again when we are in Sandpoint.
