Poor customer service. Having recently moved to the area, I tried to sign up for the 7-day free trial. When I arrived for the first day, the staff asked me THREE times to confirm I wasn’t a tourist. Not a great first impression to be immediately put on the defensive - ended up not bothering and will sign up to a different gym.
They will keep charging you over a year after you cancel.
My brother and I cancelled our memberships back in June 2024. Despite this, Hautfitness continued to charge us until October 2024. When we went to the gym in person to fix this, the staff promised us a refund for those wrongful charges (roughly €200), which we never received.
We were ready to let the lost money go just to be done with them. However, today (December 2025)—nearly 19 months after cancelling—my brother received yet another request for payment.
It is unacceptable to ask for money a year after a contract has ended, especially when you still owe us money for previous errors. If you are thinking of joining, be careful: they do not respect cancellations and will continue attempting to take your money indefinitely.
Fijne sportschool, goede sfeer, nooit te lang hoeven wachten om een apparaat te gebruiken zoals bij andere sportscholen, goede apparatuur en 24/7 geopend. Al met al zeer tevreden over deze sportschool.

UPDATE: after joining a trial for JUST ONE TIME and then trying to cancel afterwards invain (to which they did not reply) they hired a credit company and trying to bill me 200 EURO. Do not trust all the 5 stars paid/fake reviews. do not sign up for a free trial week at this gym, you’ve been warned! Not only they will charge you for the key if you cancel and return the key(money that so far haven’t received back) , but they will also try and charge you for the monthly subscription!! UPDATE: After reading my review, They are now threatening me to not cancel my membership. Join this gym at your own risk!

Sinds maart woon ik aan de overkant van Haut, en kom daar sinds begin deze zomer met veel plezier 2x /week voor hersteloefeningen ivm een nieuwe knie. Ik vind het een onverwachte verrijking van mijn bestaan en hoop het nog lang vol te houden als (nu) 76-jarige te midden van vooral 20ers en 30ers!
