Super friendly and helpful staff. I rented an e-MTB bike, and it was nice. The battery range could have been better, and more gears would have helped with steep uphill climbs – or perhaps I just planned too ambitious route! Regardless, it was a successful day and a beautiful trip through the Madeira mountains.
I definitely recommend this bike rental.

Dream Ride from Funchal to Pico do Arieiro and Back!
Thinking about doing this ride? My wife and I (an active couple) asked HappyBikes for some tips, and it turned out to be one of the best days we had on Madeira!
We received a GPX file from them (you can open it, for example, in the free mapy.cz app). The ride to the top took us about 2.5 hours, and we had plenty of time to hike the accessible part of the PR1 trail. The return ride downhill took roughly 1 hour. There are lots of restaurants and cafés along the way where you can take a break.
We mostly used the “Tour” and “Sport” modes, and the battery (and our legs!) handled it just fine :) If it’s a sunny day—don’t waste it. This ride is a must!
Also, the prices were very reasonable :)

Rented a Canyon Endurace CF for a week in Jardim do Mar. Couldn't ask for a better conditioned bike, road like it was brand new. Everyone was so lovely and easy to deal with. I will rent from them again when I am back and would recommend to everyone I know coming to the island. Fantastic price service and bikes. 10/10

Fantastic experience - would highly recommend.
The first day we did a 4 person MTB tour through the levadas. The owner was very knowledgeable and took us through some beautiful scenery over 3 hours.
The next 3 days I hired a road bike to explore the island - the bike was a Canyon Ultimate CF SL, perfectly maintained and ideal for the Madeiran terrain. The owner couldn't do enough to help - advising on the best routes and climbs, fitting accessories (pedals, Garmin mount etc).
We'll definitely be back! Thank you 😊

Good place to rent bikes in Madeira! They provide everything you need—locks, repair kits, and useful info. We arrived three hours before closing but still had to pay for four (our fault). The lady there was helpful, but her suggested route would have made us return late and pay a fee, so plan accordingly. Rented three bikes—one had a slightly deflated tire, but nothing major. Overall, a solid rental spot, and biking in Madeira is definitely worth it!

Duży wybór rowerów (w tym szosowe na karbonowej ramie i hamulcami tarczowymi). Bardzo miła obsługa, pomocna nawet w zapakowaniu roweru do samochodu:-) czy dobraniu właściwego roweru do trasy (miałem już kilka wgranych na Garmina). Sprzęt zadbany i gotowy do jazdy. W pakiecie dodatkowa dętka i akcesoria + ubezpieczenie rowerzysty. Nie było również problemu gdy poprosiłem o przykręcenie drugiego koszyka na bidon. Ceny bardzo rozsądne. Polecam wszystkim.

Przyszliśmy z rana bez wcześniejszej rezerwacji i od ręki dostaliśmy rowery. Wypożyczalnia posiada duży wybór, rowery nowe zadbane. Pani obsługująca bardzo miła, pomogła w wyborze trasy, przesłała polecany ślad gpx z komoot na e-mail i wszystko wytłumaczyła. Na drogę dostaliśmy torbę z narzędziami (dętki, multitool, łyżki, zapięcie) oraz uchwyt na telefon do nawigacji. Po wszystkim Pan ze sklepu pomógł wydostać się niefortunnie zaparkowanym tam autem uff... Przystępne ceny, świetna obsługa, gorąco polecam!

Super Tour mit Guide bis zum Skywalk. Sehr zu empfehlen. Fahrräder Super. Von der Buchung bis zum Guide sehr freundlich. Vom Schiff bis zu Happy Bike nicht mal 10 Minuten zu Fuß. Vielen Dank für dieses schöne Erlebnis. ;)

Wir haben uns zwei E-Mountainbikes für einen Tag geliehen und waren total begeistert! Super Fahrräder und ein noch besserer Service. Es wurde sich viel Zeit dafür genommen, die Fahrräder richtig einzustellen und die richtige Größe zu finden. Anschließend wurden wir noch gefragt, wo wir hin wollen, woraufhin wir noch eine Menge Tipps bekommen haben, welche Strecken gut sind und welche nicht. Helm, Handyhalterung, Reparaturset und Lenkertasche waren inklusive. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!
P.S. Zum Cabo Girao mit dem Fahrrad hoch ist schon echt mega anstrengend, aber dennoch möglich :-)

Zelo prijazno osebje. Dobili smo vrhunsko pripravljena in kvalitetna kolesa, vso potrebno opremo, orodje in torbice. Zelo zadovoljni !!!! Če se vrnem, zanesljivo spet Happy Bikes. Hvala!!!!
