EXCELLENT SERVICE!! Last night I discovered the drain down the basement wasn't draining and water all over the floor. Got it cleaned up as best I could with towels and a mop, then called Halverson's right away this morning. Dave came out almost immediately and got the clog out of the main sewer drain. I can use the water again! Extremely happy with the prompt, professional and friendly service!
I witnessed someone in a truck from this company speeding from Menomonie toward Eau Claire. They were going over 80 and rapidly cutting people off while zipping between lanes and tail gating others. They also hadn’t cleared the snow and ice off the roof of the truck so they were flinging ice chucks at all the cars behind them. It seemed reckless and dangerous. I don’t know what the quality of their services are like, but if safety behind the wheel is any indication of how they care about others, then I’d be careful with this company. If they are willing to put others in danger on the road to save a couple minutes on their drive, then what corners will they cut on the job to save some time and money?
Halverson Bros installed my Lennox furnace and AC. They upgraded my water heater and dropped in a gas line for a new stove. All the work was done quickly and efficiently, at a competitive price. Today, while waiting for a new refrigerator, I decided to shut off the water to the ice maker. I couldn't find a standard shut off valve, so I took a picture of the line and showed it to Jeff. He said it was a needle valve and explained how it worked and how to cap it off, there was no charge for the consultation and I was able to disconnect the line with a 50 cent part. I would recommend Halverson Bros to anyone looking for new install, upgrade or repair of their plumbing and HVAC.
They had to come out twice to my house for a problem and they couldn't figure it out. So I pretty much got double charged for the same problem and we still don't know what the issue is. When I call a company and have them come out to my house I expect them to fix the problem and not have to come back a second time and then charge me for that as well.
