Poor quality and unhelpful service The reformer Pilates machine I received was in terrible condition, with noticeable scratches and dents right out of the box. On top of that, the quality was very disappointing—it was not solid oak wood as advertised. When I contacted them, they refused to replace the item and claimed that returning it would be inconvenient. This level of service and product quality is unacceptable. I would strongly recommend avoiding this company.

Terrible service and harassment I had a dreadful experience ordering a weights set. Paid for express delivery in January but heard nothing for weeks, despite multiple emails. After nearly three weeks of being ignored, I canceled through my credit card and bought a similar set elsewhere. Weeks later, they emailed with a feeble 10% apology, but I’d moved on. Shockingly, they still sent the order in February, left it at a random location, and now accuse me of theft despite their mistake. Their handling of this situation and ongoing harassment is unacceptable. Avoid this company at all costs.

Please read before ordering Ordered a set of kettlebells early Jan told they would be delivered around February 2nd, we have only received part of the set, We have had several delivery dates for the remaining items and still nothing delivered,I have contacted them over and over again and the last reply i had from them they are now saying I wont receive the rest of my order until the 28th May 6 months after we placed the order i wont be holding my breath waiting for them. absolutely shocking company do not order from them.

Goods never delivered, chargeback upheld after 3 months I placed an order on 3 December 2025. Two parcels were marked as delivered by DPD on 18 and 19 December, yet nothing was received. The tracking records stated the parcels had been signed for, however no delivery took place and no signature was given. The delivery evidence was clearly inconsistent. The 18 December photo showed a completely different sender and recipient and did not relate to my address. The 19 December photo showed no identifiable delivery location or readable address and provided no proof that the goods were delivered to the correct property. I contacted Gym Sets immediately and repeatedly throughout December and also contacted DPD directly. I was advised that only the sender could investigate or correct the delivery issue. Despite multiple detailed emails and escalation requests, Gym Sets did not resolve the matter. After waiting in good faith and extending deadlines to allow them time to act, I initiated a chargeback with my bank for goods not received. At that point Gym Sets became very responsive, but primarily to request that I cancel or stand down the chargeback before they would resolve the issue. Given the lack of earlier action, I declined. Gym Sets then counter-claimed the chargeback, which required me to assemble documentation and evidence to defend myself. The card provider has now ruled in my favour and upheld the chargeback. From order to resolution this process lasted nearly three months and caused significant and unnecessary stress, particularly over the Christmas period. Based on my experience, I would advise others to exercise caution before ordering.

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM Never, ever buy from them! They've took my money, refuse to reply to emails and will only reply when I use a contact form and they start all over again. It's been 3 months since I sent them just under £300 and I'm yet to receive the weights I ordered expect 1 pair. Please read this and other latest reviews. They're taking peoples money and not sending items!

Avoid at all costs! We pre ordered a dumbbell set. They were really delayed even after the expected delivery date and communications tailed off to no response despite still missing a pair of 15kgs dumbbells out of our set. Really, really poor customer service. Avoid at all costs!!

Stay away from these scammers ⚠️⛔️⛔️⛔️ Please please stay away from these scammers. I placed an order for some dumbbells. I realised it's a pre-order,and it will arrive in 2 months time so I tried to cancel. I couldn't get hold of them...I checked the return policy and it says that if it's a pre-order you can cancel it any time and you get your money back. I contacted my bank and my bank refunded me my money and they took the case with SP GYMSET UK. After a week my bank sent me a text saying that SP GYMSET UK has challenged my claim...ha ha can you believe it. SCAMMERS. Anyway my bank said they have everything what they need and the bank will deal with them. SO ...STAY AWAY FROM THIS FAKE COMPANY.

CAN'T WAIT TO BUY MORE Honestly do not know how this shop is getting poor reviews! We decided to buy a gym set up as our local is getting so busy at peak times we struggle to get in a decent workout. Gymsets had a January sale on and the equipment we chose on 28th January had a pre-order notice that it would be available by valentines weekend. This was fine for us as we had a month to give notice at our gym. Withing a few days we received our rack, bench, a few weights and bar. Since, each week, we got a parcel here and there with the rest of our order. Yes it came in several shipments and yes, it has been a few weeks BUT it has all been delivered before the back order date and the quality is superb! I will not hesitate to order again!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS AVOID this company at all costs! They fail at every point from purchasing to delivery. Go elsewhere as their customer service is equally terrible it’s AI generated. I’ve put this order into credit card dispute, I see many others have done the same! Wish I’d read the reviews before purchasing. An unprofessional company that is quick to take your money then fails to deliver! If I could give it zero stars I would. Look at Trustpilot for a lot more reviews about this company!

Beware of pre-order items Placed my order on 1st December 2025, and it’s now 10th February 2026 with no delivery in sight. They keep shifting the target date—from early January to 20th January, then 10th February—blaming the delay on vague "pre-order" terms. Communication is incredibly poor, and chasing them for updates requires constant effort. Be cautious about ordering items not in stock; it’s been a frustrating experience.

Gymsets Cadillac 3 in 1 reformer machine I would award 5 stars to the individual in customer service who supported me, but 2 stars overall to Gymsets due to multiple issues throughout the purchasing and delivery process. Key issues experienced: • Poor and inconsistent communication • Conflicting delivery timelines • Clear internal misalignment, with different messages received from different contacts • At one point, the Gymsets email address appeared to be offline, resulting in a bounce-back • No advance notice about the size of the delivery crate, which caused major difficulties for the delivery team unloading outside a terraced London home • No assembly instructions provided, alongside conflicting product images on the website, making assembly of a 3-in-1 Cadillac reformer (approx. 110kg) largely guesswork ⸻ My experience with Gymsets was a rollercoaster. After placing an initial order on 29 December 2025 for a reformer bed (later swapped for a 3-in-1 Cadillac reformer), issues quickly arose around communication. Delivery dates were repeatedly pushed back, followed by periods of complete silence via email. After raising a review in late January 2026, a customer service representative contacted me directly and continued communication via messaging. This individual made a genuine effort to understand my concerns, particularly around the product swap, and provided photo updates to confirm the item had arrived in the country. This level of service restored some confidence and was the main reason I continued with the order. The next major challenge was delivery, which highlighted a clear breakdown between Gymsets and the delivery partner. At this stage, trust in the customer service representative became the only reason I persevered with the process. Gymsets appear to be going through growing pains, but the post-purchase to delivery experience is currently unacceptable. Items should not be advertised with delivery timeframes, paid for in full, then repeatedly delayed with conflicting communication and periods of no response. A key learning point for Gymsets is that the product arrives in a very large, heavy crate. The delivery team spent over two hours figuring out how to safely unload it. Both customers and delivery partners should be clearly informed in advance about the size and handling requirements. Finally, the item arrived without any assembly instructions. I had to rely on YouTube and website images, only to realise the images shown were of different models and conflicted with the product delivered. That said, the product has now been delivered and I’m looking forward to using it. The equipment itself appears solid, but the overall customer journey needs significant improvement.

Appauling - DO NOT ORDER IF YOU DO NOT WANT HASSEL! Avoid – terrible service and faulty products Absolutely appalling service. I’ve had no response to emails, WhatsApp messages, Instagram DMs, or other contact attempts. I ordered on 19 January and emailed photo evidence of the faults on 25 January. Today is 4 February 2026, and I still haven’t received a single reply. The issues: Bench arrived with missing bolts Bolt holes don’t line up, so it can’t be assembled The bar is defective and unusable Adjustable weights do not adjust as advertised All I’ve asked for is a replacement of the faulty items, but due to being completely ignored, I’m now having to proceed with a chargeback. Very poor service. Do not order. Avoid the hassle.
