Unfortunately the negative reviews are accurate. Our claim was checked for compliance by the HRMC and the tax had to be repaid. They are ignoring our emails about getting the substantial fee back. Out of pocket and a lot of stress. I suspect a scam set up intentionally this way.

Do no touch this company , they said they where experts and would refund me any commission paid if HMRC wanted the R&D claim back. HMRC have told me that the R&D was falsely claim and asked for money back, which I have paid but Green Jellyfish have now said they will not refund the commission I paid them when clearly when I spoke to them they said they would. I am in the care sector which I am already struggling KEEP AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

I am writing this review as a warning to any business approached by Green Jellyfish: stay as far away from them as possible. They claim to be R&D tax experts, but I can assure you, based on my personal experience, that this couldn't be further from the truth. In April of 2022, Green Jellyfish approached my company, promising expertise in innovation and R&D tax credits. After initial consultations, we made the unfortunate decision to engage their services. They filed R&D tax claims on our behalf for our year-end 2021 and 2022 accounts over a 3-month period. Initially, the claims appeared to be successful for both year ends. Everything seemed fine. However, the situation quickly took a turn for the worse when HMRC conducted a compliance check on our R&D tax claims for both years. To our dismay, the compliance check revealed that our business had incorrectly claimed for R&D tax refunds. Not only did Green Jellyfish mislead us into believing they were competent in this field, but they also charged us a hefty 15% fee for their services. Now that our claims have been deemed incorrect and we face penalties from HMRC, we naturally requested a refund of the fee. Shockingly, Green Jellyfish has flat-out refused to return the money, leaving us no choice but to seek legal advice to recover what is rightfully ours. As a result of Green Jellyfish's false expertise, incorrect claims, and refusal to refund the fee, our company is now in a dire situation. We not only have to repay the entire claim amount to HMRC but are also left grappling with legal complexities and potential financial losses. I strongly advise any business considering their services to steer clear of Green Jellyfish. Their claims of being R&D tax experts are baseless, and their actions have led to disastrous consequences for my company. Save yourself the trouble, expenses, and potential legal ramifications by avoiding this company at all costs. They are nothing more than a group of inept individuals who should not be trusted with such crucial matters. Do yourself a favour and seek out reputable and reliable professionals who genuinely specialize in R&D tax credits. Green Jellyfish is a prime example of what happens when you place your trust in the wrong hands. Protect your business and your finances by avoiding them altogether. Learn from our unfortunate experience and spare yourself the agony of dealing with such unscrupulous and incompetent individuals who not only fail to deliver on their promises but also refuse to take responsibility for their actions.

DO NOT get taken in by their claims re R and D claims. My initial contact with Green Jellyfish was very professional etc, and the promise that I could receive a rebate was an attractive one, considering my education based company had only just about survived COVID. We received a reasonable amount, Green Jellyfish received double that amount. Now the tax office is demanding a rebate for the full amount including what Green Jellyfish have in their own bank account. Causing a great deal of stress. DO NOT USE

An ongoing Nightmare!! I was first contacted by Green Jellyfish in late March 2022. I was advised by Green Jellyfish that my business was eligible for R&D tax refunds. I was told by the companies advisor they had a 100% success rate. The company also claimed a 100% success rate of their website. (I have evidence of all of this in writing). Fast forward HMRC conducted an investigation and concluded I was not due any refunds and I was faced with the real risk of fines and penalties from HMRC and had to pay back all the tax Green Jellyfish claimed on my behalf. HMRC also charged me late interest payments which also left me further out of pocket. To make matters worse Green Jellyfish have still not refunded me my fees which are over £4000 and even after two emails chasing them this week to refund me my money I have not heard back directly from Green Jellyfish. I have emailed the customer services department they state reviewers should contact on their responses to other negative reviews but I am yet to hear back. The whole experience has left me distressed, out of pocket and was a entire waste of my time. Unless you want the very real prospect of facing a HMRC enquiry, risk of HMRC fines and even the potential of being reviewed for potential fraud by HMRC I would personally avoid this. I will shortly be serving a letter of intent to take this matter to court unless I get my refund this week. If Green Jellyfish do however contact me and arrange for the refund of the fees I paid them I am prepared to update this review to reflect that fact. Until such time this is an accurate position on the situation on the 18th May 2023. If in doubt, call HMRC to confirm if your business is eligible for R&D credit refunds as to avoid a HMRC enquiry, HMRC fine, HMRC penalites and late interest payments so you do not end up out of pocket like I did!

Awful company - give false reassurances and promised that are to good to be true - did and R+D claim for us which was successfully challenged by HMRC and now we face penalties- they have taken their fees and our company now potentially faces administration - please avoid being taken in by their marketing spiel and promises that turn out to good to be true.

This company is a total fraud. Please avoid. They will tell you 1000 times no cash no fee and then send you their invoice. We have not received the money or any sort of confirmation from HMRC and they insist we pay their invoice. In which kind of world the client has to pay for services that were not carried out? The communication is a total disaster. It's like talking to a wall. So disappointed. Not worth your time and energy.

I had a good experience with Green Jellyfish a year ago. They contacted again and we processed a claim with them. This time it was a horrible experience. The service I received from K. Mirzayi was so unprofessional. In addition, the refund from HMRC for our company was diverted into their company (Green Jellyfish) business account. It took them three weeks and several phone calls to refund the monies. When they now refunded our money, they short paid us by 20% on top of their their fees that they had already deducted when they siphoned our refund from HMRC. I would stay clear of this company because they are fraudulent! I have already put in a complaint against them with HMRC and they are currently being investigated. It is a shame that they stated well but got greedy. It is not fair that they stole our funds.
