The faculty was very enthusiatic to help us with every aspect in the field and use of geospatial tools. There were regular classes, hands on training and quizzes, throughout thr months. The 6 months ended with a significant submission of 2 assignments, a mcq and practical based test, after which the administration provided the certificate within stipulated time. Gred foundation feels like family. So for Geospatial courses, it is the right place to join.

I highly commend this institution for its exemplary guidance. The commitment to providing insightful and personalized support has truly set a benchmark for quality education and mentorship.

Learning with the GRED foundation has been an interesting and rewarding journey, over the one month. Not only was this a successful online learning journey, but the wealth of richness in the resource materials shared and presented, coupled with the interactive sessions and practice work, some of which were also representative of our region of residence, has helped ensure that participants did obtain the anticipated results beyond this short course training program. The training methodology and commitment of the present were instrumental in ensuring the success of this training beyond expectations. The method of the training adopted; first introduces participants to a subject matter of discussion by providing a detailed background of the relevant field, its area, and scope of application; this is then complimented with practical learning with the use of computer-aided tools or software(Qgis, ArcPro, ArcGIS, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAC etc.), tutorials, video recordings from the course lecturer, and videos from other online training, as well as additional reference and resource materials containing content of each topic being taught. This means the availability of training materials for accessibility at any time, also helps participants in their self-studies(practice), and complete practice assignments. Based on this enriched learning program of this short training course, I can say learning with GRED institute is not a waste but a success in boosting one's career path, I therefore look forward to future opportunities, at a Post Graduate or Diplomat level with the GRED institute.

Overall, It was a very great learning experience with GRED.So much was explored and unfolded with open source data and information on disaster management analysis.Hope to looking forward to be joining again via some advanced courses in geoinformatics (mainly in hydrogeological modelling using R / python/Machinelearning ) that include hands on and internship offer and opportunities 😊🙏

During the earthquake that struck Morocco, digital mapping played a crucial role in crisis management and aid efforts. Numerous volunteers and organizations like #GReD Fondation mobilized to create detailed online maps of the affected region, allowing for the identification of the most impacted areas and the assessment of aid needs. These digital maps were used to coordinate rescue and recovery efforts by providing real-time information on damaged infrastructure, high-risk areas, emergency shelters, and available resources. They also visualized evacuation routes, blocked roads, and access points to emergency services. Thanks to digital mapping, rescuers were able to quickly locate victims and deliver aid where it was most needed. Remote volunteers were able to contribute by updating the maps in real-time, providing on-the-ground teams with up-to-date information to make informed decisions. Digital mapping also facilitated coordination among different organizations involved in rescue operations, allowing for quick and efficient sharing of geographic information. This helped avoid duplication of efforts and optimized the use of available resources. In summary, digital mapping played a vital role during the earthquake in Morocco by providing accurate and real-time information, facilitating rescue coordination, and contributing to the effectiveness of rescue and recovery operations. I think is very good place, if you want to learn GIS, just coming here. I feel the people who there's are friendly and respond quickly. One part that I like is that they are actively organizing humanitarian mapping events with the OpenStreetMap Community, it's quite fun for me :)
