GP Hardscape deserves praise for extra effort executing our project--replacing an aging retaining wall and patio; installing a new courtyard and walkway; replacing an aging front entrance stoop. Iraci, the estimator and project manager, negotiated a fair price, and then went above and beyond to explain the process, assist with materials selection, and answer our every question and concern. The installers worked into the night in very cold weather to get the project done on time.
GP Hardscape is a competent and customer-centered company.
We are so thrilled about your experience with us Mr Tanzy, thank you for trusting us with your home we will continue to focus on customer centric service and quality!

We just finished a patio project with Alice and the GP Hardscape team. We are SO thrilled with how our vision for the backyard came to life via their expertise.
We were impressed upon Alice’s initial visit to provide us with a free quote. She was very thorough in her measurements and surveying of the slopes, areas we’d have to work around. The quote was itemized so we understood fully what the all in price was going towards, we had several quotes and this wasn’t always the case. She even offered up design options for us that we took her up on to enhance the overall look (like adding the soldier boarder around the edge). She was very easy to communicate with, prompt in her replies and stayed present throughout the duration of the project to check on the work and our feedback.
The team that installed the patio was phenomenal. So hard working and so efficient. They were done in 2.5 days! Everything was done with great attention to detail and if something popped up that required a shift in the plan, they brought solutions to us right away which we found helpful. We trusted their guidance. They also found a way to minimize the footprint that the bobcat machine had to go on our lawn which we were so pleased with to avoid any damage to our side yard.
Overall, would highly recommend their services and we will be passing along their info to the other neighbors around us in Avondale Estates!
Photos show before and after.
Thank you, Alice and Team!
We had the most amazing experience and could not be happier! Such high quality work and everyone was so nice! We loved working with Iraci Santos! She helped us every step of the way. Not to mention that the crew was phenomenal!
Hired Eddie’s team do pressure wash and seal our new patio (pavers and flagstone), fireplace & outdoor kitchen. Outstanding job! Eddie is very knowledgeable and was helpful in recommending when to do the work, which sealant to use, etc. They were professional, prompt, respectful of property and did great work. Highly recommend!
We met GP Hardscape Pavers at the Atlanta Home show a few years ago and the way they transformed our backyard/patio area is nothing short of amazing! It's beyond what we expected. Excellent work! Also, the project manager Iraci was a joy to work with! Highly recommend GP Hardscape!!!
In 2022, it is rare to find a contractor that not only lives up to expectations, but greatly exceeds them. GP Hardscapes (Eddie, Iraci, and the entire crew) somehow maintain an unparalleled level of professionalism and attention to detail in a difficult labor market, and make it clear to their customers that EVERY job is important, while maintaining very fair prices. They have earned our business for life. Thank you Iraci and Eddie!
I asked Eddie and Iraci to build a new 7' tall by 61' retaining wall to replace our failing railroad tie wall. It was a little challenging as we required a permit during COVID and ATL was slow. We had an engineer prepare the pans and Iraci provided an estimate. The results are fantastic, love the new wall and the quality is great. The only constructive feedback I'd have is the engineer under estimated the amount of block, so I'd recommend a thorough review of the estimate with Eddie and team. Eddie told me the block was being delivered on a Wednesday but they also started the project the same day which I didn't realize was going to happen so had to scramble to move cars and tell my neighbors. Not a big deal but just FYI I would emphasize good communication and expectations are key.
That aside I would not hesitate to use GP Hardscape and the Eddie's crew, I am having them do more work on my property in the coming weeks.
Thank you Mr. Bragg, what an honor to be held in such high regard! We are thrilled to hear you're pleased with project, let us know if we can help in any other way.

Our deteriorated railroad tie retaining wall was replaced by GP Hardscape. The guys worked very hard, were courteous, and meticulous. We are so pleased with our new wall. They did a wonderful job of cleaning up after the work was done.
Thank you for the review Mrs. Maxwell and thank you for trusting us with your retaining wall needs!

What a pleasure to work with GP Hardscape! They have done a pool deck, a patio and a walkway at our old house December 2020. Price never went up and everything was beyond expectations. They fixed a big drainage problem at the same time. A callback for a bit of mud wash over the new walkway, Katie has it fixed immediately. Sod torn up from machine, she puts down great new sod on the tracks. She is on site constantly checking that everything is correct. So at our new house in July and August 2021, we called GP to undertake a big project. We created a patio and lawn area beside the lake where it formerly was too steep to use or even walk on. Two large retaining walls, one beautifully curved and a beautiful paver patio and level lawn area in between. GP suggested adding dirt and sloping gently the hillside between the house and new area and WOW we have a totally useable and beautiful yard right on the lake! Our corps line is in the water, so it is land you want to use if you can. Katie made a dream come true by working with us with ideas as this project went forward. Drains in place an no soil running into the lake. They did everything right. These people are incredible. DL, the foreman, was constantly giving me pointers to improve the original design. DL took this project on like he was doing his own house. Great care to design, function and astethitcs. We also had GP design and build two sets of steps for us, one paver and one natural stone. I could go on and on about this company. Best group of contractors I have ever worked with. I recommend them!
Thank you for the kind words Mrs. Taylor. We are thrilled to hear such incredible feedback. Thank you for trusting us with your home and we hope you enjoy your patio for years to come :)

We just had GP install ~900sq ft of paver patio in our backyard. The project had a lot of delays because of material shortages. That's understandable. There was also a miscommunication about the size of the patio which ended up costing us an additional $1,700. That's also understandable if unfortunate. They ended up doing BEAUTIFUL work cutting the stone and laying the patio. No complaints at all. Then they applied a sealant and either applied too much, or the weather was too hot, or there was some other issue that caused an ugly white film all over. They said someone would come by to look at it. No one came. Now they are saying they'll fix it...in two months. I still don't know what happened to cause the white film. It's very discouraging to have 99.5% of the work be excellent and then something like this happens at the end to ruin what is otherwise an outstanding job. I mean the masons were phenomenally conscientious. I'll revise this review depending on how they address the situation. So far the communication has been poor about this situation.
Update - A representative called to explain the situation which is also described below. I'm bumping this up to 5 stars since the only issue was the white film and I believe they'll take care of it. Thank you for the phone call and your note below. It sounds like an unfortunate situation because of the material.
Thank you for your feedback Mr. Malone. We would like to point out that the reason why that white layer is present in your pavers is due to the pavers not curing long enough before the application of the sealer. The reason for that is that the paver supply has become so low and competitive that, when we normally (pre-supply shortage) install a paver patio, those pavers have cured in the yard for a few months or so - while your pavers were fresh from the manufacturers. It was an oversight on our part to apply the sealant before the pavers were fully cured, but we want to assure you that when we return to the site to re-apply the sealer your issue will be resolved. You were told 2months because that is, on average, enough time for those pavers to fully cure. If you have any more questions, we would love to help! You can call our office (770) 401-0593 and ask for Eddie.
